If you hate the New Deal, which parts would you eliminate?

See? Epi thinks the government is perfectly legitimate in banning labor unions for the 'free market', and thinks banks should be able to exploit the working man until another great depression comes along.

Not banning them. They can strike if they want, but employers should be able to replace them if they do.

Which would only work in a time of full employment. Otherwise, it would just mean everyone except the super rich would make minimum wage, or a cent an hour in your utopic vision.

If you have professed hatred for the FDR's New Deal, which part(s) of it would you have oppossed, and would eliminate?

2) Prohibition of Child Labor
3) Minimum Wage Law
5) Stronger Collective Bargaining (Labor) Laws
6) Rural Electrification Program
7) Dam-building, road-building, infrastrucure building programs
8) Public Work Projects (WPA, CCC)
9) Agricultural Subsidies and regulation
10) Fiscal Austerity Measures: (cutting salaries and pensions of Government employees and veterans)

Get rid of these. As far as Bank regulations keep the FDIC and the Discount window. That is it....

Banning child labor is a gross distortion of the free market. Parents have the right send their children to work in the factories if they were too lazy to make enough money to send them to school.

Darned straight! And abortion should be legal until the 18th celebration of their date of birth.
