In my case I like to take a nice shower, to take care of my beautiful hair

The remora of JPP
President Donald Trump signed a new executive order Wednesday in pursuit of a familiar and elusive goal: “Undoing the left’s war on water pressure.”

The President on Wednesday directed Energy Secretary Chris Wright to roll back Obama- and Biden-era rules limiting pressure in shower heads. In particular, he railed against efficiency standards getting in the way of grooming his iconic coiffure.

He really is both a really weird and really fucked up dude.

Five minutes of work at most and you can remove the flow restrictor from a shower head or faucet yourself. Stupid, useless, government regulation that only affects the stupid and lazy.
Including Pedo Don who probably can't operate a crescent wrench or a screwdriver without hurting himself.

I am so pleased that is what he was doing while the market crashed.

Nice, I like a good shower, not one that barely gets you wet like you are in jail or something...

:D
What were you in jail for?

AFAIK, there's no federal law in this since all the showers I've experienced in Texas were fine. Is this a State's Rights thing? Is this proof the Party of Trump has officially broken from the Republican Party's stance on State's Rights?

I work in a position that set me as a project manager on renovating a jail and increasing security. We are nearly done with the project, but during this project I have learned more about prisons/jails the laws and regulations that go with it than I ever thought I might need to know; water pressure inside a jail, how long the showers are set to run, septic systems built for large amounts of folks, roofs, small attics, fascia, locks, the PREA act, pony walls, fire suppression... and myriad other topics.

One thing I learned. If you say something is for law enforcement or incarceration the cost triples for whatever it is.

LOL The same goes for the military and, AFAIK, any other government project. My guess is that our civilian legislature pick the contractors by "networking" with their friends and family.

My party did engage in a lot on non-FDR-type issues that pissed people off.

The hippie element in our party screwed up priorities pretty badly,
and it seems to have cost us our nation.

We need universal health care and workers' rights,
hard left economic issues,
and we have people talking about gas stoves and water pressure and the transgendered community.

I believe that their intentions were probably good,
but their actions actually helped the fuckwitted trumpanzees destroy our republic.
They're also acting like trumpanzees in the sense of not accepting any accountability for it.

I love these new instant water heaters. The old water heaters would run out of water, and then you would be stuck with a cold shower. The water heater I have now does not have a tank, but rather creates hot water on demand. Literally, two people can be taking hot showers forever... No limits.

You know my children have not seen a lightbulb replaced in 13 years. They do not even remember replacing lightbulbs is a thing. We switched to LED lightbulbs and have not had to replace one since. Before that, we would replace lightbulbs every year or so.

I used to see these two room prefabs with a service area in-between being moved north on the Blue Route to the west of Philadelphia. This was about 1995, or so. I could not figure out what they were, but every time I drove on the highway, I would see two or three of them being moved somewhere. Ten years later I recognized them as the prefab building blocks of the new Riker's Island jail building.

If you use a lot of hot water daily, an instant hot water heater is a terrible choice. The power draw on those things is immense. The best choice for high use is a hot water heater + tank booster.

Put one of those on my tank. My cost was $325. That little gem increases tank capacity by about 1/3rd and uses no more power than the tank itself.

Problem is the old bulbs cost less than $1 each while the new ones cost $5 to $10 each.

Tankless water heaters do have a large power draw, but are also more efficient. The tanked water heaters store energy(badly) in the tank.

Besides, I generate enough electricity with my solar panels that I rarely have to pay any real amounts of money for my electricity.

Problem is the old bulbs cost less than $1 each while the new ones cost $5 to $10 each.
$10 for a bulb that lasts 30 years, or $1 for a bulb that lasts one year... And do not forget the further savings in electricity costs.
