Consumer demand is down because of the deterioration in consumer sentiment, and tariffs have not yet shown in consumer prices.

Not true, Congressional Democrats repeatedly edited or altered Biden’s proposals, the Build Back Better Act being a good example, the passed legislation being a revision of what Biden proposed, that would never happen under Trump, Republicans who challenge him are quickly silenced.
And unlike the right, no Democrat would have ever supported and defended Biden if he attempted the 1/6 embarrassment Trump did
