Inflation down. Thank you President Trump
Inflation takes 6 months to a year to show up in the measurements, so we do not know for certain what trump's policies have done to inflation. We do have some evidence, and that is inflation expectations.

Inflation expectations are at 6.7%. That is the highest it has been since 1981, and rising quickly. If the Fed can engineer an extreme recession, there is a possibility we can avoid double digit inflation.

Like if it had gone up instead of down, your ilk wouldn't be blaming him? Nice try Felicia

Where ever we go from here, up, down, sideways, it is on trump. Normally, we could point to Congress too, but trump has specifically, unconstitutionally cut Congress out.

It is looking more and more certain we will have double digit inflation for the first time in 45 years, and almost certain that we are looking at a bad recession. The market is going further down, but is already a bear market.

If I am wrong, and things start going swimmingly, then of course trump deserves the credit for that. Why is taking responsibility so difficult for trumpers?

Wrong again, Rarely Right Walter.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is a measure of the average change over time in the prices paid by consumers for a representative basket of consumer goods and services. The CPI measures inflation as experienced by consumers in their day-to-day living expenses.

Inflation has been bouncing around from 2.4% to 3% because of stuff that happened 6 to 12 months ago. Inflation expectation is off the charts, because of stuff that is happening now. It is the worst it has been since 1981, but unlike in 1981 when it was dropping, it is rising quickly now.

So, you admit that you were wrong, Never Right Walter.

Excuse the correction here, but it's not rarely right walter, rather, it's never right walter.
If it turns out that you were right, and somehow inflation expectation was wrong, then I will give trump full credit. I do not see why you are so worried about this, if you really believe as you claim.

Contracts are negotiated months in advance, so it takes a policy decision 6 to 12 months to have any effect. That is just reality. I do not know why you would argue that.

If trump is going to be a success, he will be a success next year too. Why are you looking for excuses for what is happening next?

This is wrong:

**‘Inflation takes 6 months to a year to show up in the measurements***, so we do not know for certain what trump's policies have done to inflation. We do have some evidence, and that is inflation expectations.”(Asterisks are mine)

You are waffling…and lying and wrong…as usual.

The CPI is taken monthly…”2 days ago — The annual consumer price index fell to 2.4% in March, down from 2.8% in February, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics”

It has not happened yet, so you are not right yet. If inflation continues to go down in the future, then trump definitely deserves the credit. But if it goes up, he deserves the blame. The time for blaming Biden is running out.

I”ll take this as your concession speech, Never Right Walter.

Do better.

Ya esta.

You are so far off. Trump blew Covid and millions died. The economy crashed and Biden saved it. You are very twisted and so wrong.
Trump said my wealthy friends made trillions yesterday.
You’re spouting nonsense because your head’s so far up your own ass it’s practically a yoga pose. MSNBC and The View aren’t informing you, they’re just spoon-feeding you brain-dead propaganda. Wake up and face reality instead of guzzling their spin like it’s your lifeblood.

  • 2020: ~82 million infections, ~1.8 million deaths
  • 2021: ~192 million infections, ~3.5 million deaths
  • 2022: ~283 million infections, ~1.3 million deaths
  • 2023: ~128 million infections, ~0.3 million deaths
  • 2024: ~20 million infections, ~0.1 million deaths

4.8 million dead and nearly half a billion infected on Biden’s watch, and the press just yawns? Shocking, right? Pull your head out of the sand, moron. Your pals already ditched the idiot train, so maybe there’s a sliver of hope for you yet. Let’s not forget, Biden played grim reaper to millions even after strong-arming everyone into that useless jab. Spoiler: it did squat.

We’d all be better off if Fauci was rotting in a cell where he belongs, and we’d listened to actual brains like the Great Barrington Declaration crew. I read it, knew they nailed it, just like every other clear-headed conservative with a pulse. And guess what? They were spot-on, while you’re still slurping the left’s Kool-Aid, whining and wrong as always. Pathetic, but par for the course.
