Is agnosticism a cop-out?

Spaz, he seemed to be off his rocker.
He was clearly retarded. Not to be cruel, but stupid people think stupid thoughts. This is why I think Perry shares a similar condition.

There's lots of eccentricity on political forums and nobody is immune. However, there's a range of normal behavior and anything outside that draws my curiosity. Perry is outside the norm just like Spaz. While some may be mentally ill like Sybil or Fredo, some are just stupid like Perry and Spaz.

Not sure what Daylight's problem is, but he has no idea of how logic works.

He may be correct that there are no gods, but the supposed "logic" he uses to support his blind guess sucks. He may be a youngster trying to appear like a thinker. But he is doing a piss poor job of it.

Having no idea how logic works = stupid if not actually retarded....a term I use more loosely than psychiatrists or medical personnel.

While Perry is clearly low IQ and very immature for his age, conditions which are probably linked, I doubt his IQ is below 85 much less the standard cutoff of 70 to qualify as mental retardation. He's just "slow". So slow he has the maturity of a teenager while being in his 30s or early 40s.

There's a few individuals who are "slow" on JPP but not as slow as Perry. Libhater is clearly "slow". Stone is less slow and probably just average at 90 to 100. There's others who are "slow" but also elderly which indicates they are probably suffering from various levels of dementia rather than a genetic malady.

Some might be brain-damaged either by accident or stroke. College graduates have an average IQ of 113. All military officers are college graduates and, as the link below points out about Marine Corps officers, they are slightly smarter than most college students. I presume Air Force officers are the same. So what's wrong with ex-Captain Earl, USAF? It's not being low IQ so my guess is brain-damage.

All of my assessments are observational with my expertise garnered from over 40 years of evaluating people for fitness to complete mission goals. Doing this in person is a lot easier than doing it online, but over hundreds of posts, indications of IQ and education become clear.

An example is comparing you and @Cypress to average JPP members. Obviously, both of you are above average IQ and above average education, either formal education (highly likely) or career job experience. Just as obviously, members like those previously mentioned are less capable and/or educated. People, like Perry who had claimed to have a PhD in Geological Chemistry, can claim whatever they like but their writing skills, maturity and rationality come through over hundreds of posts....or not, as in Perry's case. LOL

An IQ score of 113 points is at the 79% percentile, meaning that in the United States, this translates into the top 21% of the population. In other words, one in five people have the average IQ of a university student.

The SAT can, however, tell us how incoming military officers compare to the average college-bound high school student in any given year. In 2014, the average SAT score of incoming Marine officers was 1198, compared to an average of 1010 for college-bound high school seniors.27 The average SAT score of incoming Marine officers was not maintained by Marine Corps Recruiting Command before 2005,28 but the Center for Naval Analyses reported the average SAT score of incoming Marine officers in 1983 to be similarly higher than their nonmilitary peers.29 Marine Corps officers therefore continue to be more intelligent than the average college student.

Are you claiming you didn't have a mother, Perry or are you claiming she wasn't a Christian? Was she Jewish? Nothing at all? I find it hard to believe an American woman in her 60s or older wasn't religious. Therefore, you are hiding something.

Is it that you don't know? Were you abandoned as a baby? You have no idea if your mother was just a young religious girl too young to be a mother or a drug addict?

Your deeply and highly developed fantasies about my childhood are interesting. It seems to be something you spend a lot of time working up fantasies about it.

Do you have no hobbies?

Spaz or Perry? IMO, they both have very similar problems.

This seems like an important task for you as well. Finding out who I am. Almost as if you know you can't debate me on the topics because you lack skill or ability and choose, instead to fantasize about my dysfunctional childhood or who I am because I can't possibly be me. I must be someone else.

On an anonymous forum.

Can you see how fucked up that is? You and Cypress need to get hobbies appropriate to an adult mind.

Wow. Seriously dude, I didn't even read all this. You expend a LOT (a lot a lot) of time and effort obsessing on me and writing this long dissertation.

I am flattered to be so honored by taking up so MUCH space in your head but honestly it does feel a bit "stalkery".

Just sayin.

If somebody wants to be smart and well informed, I don't understand why they don't just put in the hard work to achieve that, by taking classes, reading books, and listening to subject matter experts .

Spending five minutes frantically Googling a minor tidbit of information is never going to be a substitute for diligently applying one's self in the cultivation of knowledge.

Good analysis.
In certain ways, it seems like the psychology of the militant atheist and the religious zealot converge at some level.

I am fascinated at you two. It's like you are one of those "father-son" stalking duos. You know the really creepy dudes.

Might want to dial it back a bit. Stop obsessing on me. Try responding to the points rather than the person.

I know it's hard, especially when you are a bit of a "stalker creep", but you can do this.

The fact you refuse to answer the question about your mother is also interesting, Perry. My mother was a Christian and I loved her. She was a good mom. The fact you can't say the same is sad.

I have plenty of hobbies.

Agreed but, as in Perry's case, it's not the lack of desire, but the lack of ability. Sure, he's able to Google answers, but getting him to put into his own words what those answers mean indicates a basic lack of ability to understand.

Of course not, Perry. I strongly doubt you are able to understand it.

Understand what? Your weird obsession with me?

Look at yourself dude: you think you died and went to heaven, now you are obsessing on me (Post after Post after Post after POST!)

You kinda come across as a bit of a weirdo I must say.

Seriously dude.

Apparently my childhood is one of them.

Here's the short story: I never flew up to heaven like you did. I just had a regular existence. No special trips to heaven.
Wrong again, Perry, but I doubt you are able to understand why I asked those particular questions. You also seem too "slow" to understand that people who shy away from certain questions over time are giving answers to those questions.

Neither did I, Perry, but, again, your inability to understand becomes clearer every time you post about it.

Best that you stick with that.

You are either a kid trying to cope with being out of your element...(yeah, a kind of insult)...

...or an adult showing yourself to be a child...which is a even greater insult.

I choose to suppose the former. You, of course, can correct me and acknowledge that it is the latter.

Either way...there are several of us out here who are actually doing the laughing rather than faking it.
