I think the issue is more, "Don't bother people who aren't bothering you." Does a gay guy want to marry me? No? Then I don't care who he marries.

It won't be right away and they won't say it now, but it won't be long before some queer couple strolls into a church wanting to get married and screams "discrimination" and of course we will be subjected to the caterwauling of " I have been a devoted <insert faith here> and all I want to do is get married"

Remember the left "claimed" to oppose queer marriage but now they think it is safe to come out of the closet

I just explained to you there is no recognized right that trumps the first amendment rights of the church. If there was such a right it would have been extended to some other group already. But churches are not forced to marry those of other faiths or mixed faiths.

This is just fearmongering from idiots that have not bothered to understand the court rulings.

They can, if the church decides to do that. The church can't be forced to do it. BTW - There are already many churches that perform this ritual for homosexual couples. Many are "married" in a church, but unaccepted as such by the government. In such cases the "conservatives" are arguing that the government trumps their religious beliefs when it comes to "marriage".

They want marriage because then they will be able to adopt everywhere. They can't procreate, so they must convert in order to survive as a movement.

The reason attitudes have shifted is because of the media culture. You can't turn on a television program anymore without a queer prancing around.

Remember when SOAP was cutting edge with Billy Crystals character? Of that speaks nothing of the indoctrination that is spreading in the schools. That is why the home schooling movement is growing.

But in the end, everyone knows that being queer is as abnormal as pedophilia, necrophilia, incest or any other deviant sexual act that immoral folks can dream up.

The fact is that a right to be married in a church has never been recognized for any group. You are either an idiot, engaging in fearmongering or both.
