I do not have lustful thoughts about the same sex. If I did, and overcame said temptation, it would show my belief in God to help me in said temptation.

Why? he's right, to be seen as normal, they have to change normal, period! There is nothing normal about the choice to engage in homosexual activity, it's purely acting out on lustful thoughts.

The survey, released last year, showed that 38.2 percent of men between 20 and 39 and 32.6 percent of women ages 18 to 44 engage in heterosexual anal sex. Compare that with the CDC’s 1992 National Health and Social Life survey, which found that only 25.6 percent of men 18 to 59 and 20.4 percent of women 18 to 59 indulged in it.

But you will still understand natural things, and homosexuality is unnatural. It is a sin to if married, otherwise it is trying to find a suitable mate to procreate with, something homosexuals cannot do! God does not tempt.
