Jasmine Crockett called Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, who uses a wheelchair, ‘Governor Hot Wheels’

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) mocked Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for his wheelchair in remarks that circulated online Tuesday, drawing sharp condemnation from Republicans.

“Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there. Come on now,” Crockett said at aHuman Rights Campaign dinner in Los Angeles Saturday. “And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot ass mess, honey.”

Not a word will be said on CNN MSNBC primetime about this

But Trump making fun of someone is bad VERY BAD
Disgusting comment. She should apologize.

That's extraordinarily evasive. Yes, the thread is about Crockett - but a lot of the discussion has veered toward discourse in general.

It doesn't seem like it should be that hard to address. Especially since you indicated that anyone who supports her is part of the problem. It's just logical that this sentiment should apply to Trump, also.

It is, without doubt, something that falls under the "pot/kettle" file.
I'm very specifically concerned with her words and actions right now
...I think i've made that pretty clear... ..If there's another thread discussing what your concerns are When it comes to President Trump, I'm happy to go there and discuss..

MAGA still denies that was making fun of a disabled reporter. Do you expect the high ground in the era of Trump? Sure, it was distasteful and the wrong kind of attack on Abbott, but it doesn't make it any less of a pearl-clenching bit of crocodile tears from the OP. I'm tired of MAGA whining about being served what they dish out.
Whether or not he was making fun of the reporter doesn't matter much, if you believed he was and that it was wrong enough for you to turn yourself inside out over then, then it is wrong when someone you support does it and you should act the same.

Are you hacked at her for making fun of someone with a disability? Am I?

Which of us was hacked at Trump for that?

I get schadenfreude... I revel in it even. But I do know that if I thought it was wrong in the past I'd still think it was wrong in the now and I would act accordingly.

So, if you were one of the folks that prolapsed in the past over some mean thing that Trump said and now are just happy, then you are one of the members of the Hypocratic© Party... (patent pending, patent pending, patent pending)...

Never said it did, but points out the hypocrisy of those happily accepting a total lack of civility from their leader criticizing another for the same
Who is accepting a total lack of civility other than Trumppers?
