I did add to the discussion by pointing out that you criticism of "Europe" is largely baseless. A simple "thank you" would have sufficed.

No, it is not baseless. They are in general an economic catastrophe. The problem countries do exactly what I stated, they over promised and then realized that eventually they had to pay for it. I also mock the use of 'austerity' being the reason for the economic downturns.

Which countries are "the problem countries" and why didn't you say "the problem countries" (or better yet name the specific countries) instead of saying "Europe?" Because there are plenty of countires in Europe that didn't over-promise and that manage to have extremely robust social welfare systems while doing quite nicely.

And no, austerity was not the reason for the economic downturn in the first instance, but it is the reason for a lax recovery and turn back into recession.

Then show us the failed ideas that you love with regards to how they promise one program/benefit after another until they realize they have to pay for it. I said Europe you douche bag because I was responding to Desh's post where she said 'ask Europe'. Had I known that you were going to come on and be a douche bag, I might have been more specific.

If you are too incompetent to recognize my response and who it was to (which is odd given that I quoted her), then do try to remain silent.

Ok, but like, which are the "problem countries" of "Europe" that fit your over-promised and then realized that they would have to pay for it? Because near as I can tell that scenario applies only to a very very small slice of Europe.
