That's really not the issue. The issue was the flood of posts that made good threads into nonsense for page after page. I literally moved over 300 of those things from far fewer threads. Some huge threads were over half those posts. It was done in order to attempt to moderate the board as he stated after Zappa or somebody threw in some nonsense about how "impotent" I am. His answer was, "Well that's why I am doing this, if he won't moderate it I will!" (paraphrasing there).
Changing quote boxes, not too big of a deal. We've done it for several reasons. Usually to make jokes, sometimes to simply remove huge pictures or some other nonsense to get to the meat, sometimes to remove all but one line that we are responding to...
His idea was to try to make the board unusable for most of us so that we would be "forced" to do what he wanted. If he wants to be on a board with that rule, then (as he mentioned) there are some out there. Everybody posting with a stick up their crevice hoping they don't run into some rule that they don't even know they violated just trying to make a point...
If that's what floats your boat you are in the wrong place.

Two, Dune I'm asking you nicely, just knock off the personal vendetta stuff. I don't care if it's in response to someone else or not, or who is being stupid or whatever. You take it to the warzone (and I'll note you do that very often, so thanks) that's fine. Please don't let it bog down other threads. I'm asking nicely because I really think you have a great deal to contribute.
