Juvinle Capital Punishment puts U.S. in Good Company

It seems remarkable to me that a country with such a deep tradition of distrust of government would invest it with the power to kill its on citizens.

It seems like an contradiction to me....

We've always had the DP, so apparently we didn't have that big of a distrust...

Americans simply enjoy watching people die, guilty or innocent. They jump at a chance to do it in a socially acceptable way.

With a murder rate five times higher than Britain, it really shows how death sentences and having guns everywhere is a superior way to construct a society.
