Trump caved on some of the highest tariffs but he still kept 10% on all countries. This isn't quite what a lot of people were thinking which is why the market is back down today as people realize we still have historically high tariffs against the world.

They realize Trump is still in charge and he does not learn well. Trump will return to using tariffs to bludgeon the world. They will respond similarly. This is all Daffy Donald's mess.

China has been avoiding the tariffs for years. Simply by shipping to Vietnam first. I absolutely love the fact that those who were in the front row of his inauguration have lost billions in two weeks.

What did we win? Trump is still in office and the clown show will continue. Tariffs have not gone away. I doubt his advisers can talk Trump out of doing them again. Musk got hurt badly by them. Many financial pros took huge hits. Trump thinks he knows everything. he cannot be wrong, so tariffs will return.
Trump's clumsy tariffs did exactly what economists and Democrats predicted. He backed down, but he will do them again.

Ask Cypress, he thinks Trump has "done exactly what the left has been asking for"... and the left on this site seems to want us all to believe that they "won" by getting him to do what the left wanted him to do...

I will tell you, if he follows what he talks about in his book, that this isn't over. He isn't done with his controlled chaos.

It's all part of the same package. Trump is obsessed with tariffs, the most beautiful word in the English language according to him. He's unable to admit error and strongly believes that if he just keeps pushing that he will be proven correct. This, of course, is very irrational on his part and why investors can't trust him to follow sound economic advice on rectifying any inequities in trade.
 
Kimmel bought a bunch of Trump merchandise. Every single one was made in China. Trump and Ivanka had all their overpriced crap made in China for years. Trump does not believe anything he says. He knows it works on Trumplestilskins. I have seen other people show that Trumps merchandise was made in China and some 3rd world countries. He did not care. He knows his followers do not care as long as he hates the same people they do.
