McCain: When Troops Can Come Home Is "Not too Important"

And Klaatu, that was all over the news, for a couple of weeks, including the reason why he wasn’t supporting the bill. And he took major heat from veterans groups, and I don’t mean “lefty” ones, I mean veterans groups, traditionally conservative, for it.

So if you didn’t know about this? You shouldn’t be voting.

Darla .. from what I understand there are 2 GI Bills on the floor ... Mccain supports one over the other.. the one he voted against discourages reenlistment... the one he favors gives stronger benefits to those who enlist along with career minded Military Folk. He also does not approve of the 10 billion non related earmarks tied to the bill he voted against...

"McCain: When Troops Can Come Home Is "Not to Important"

imho anyone who says this still believes we went over there for valid reasons.

It does matter when you withdrawl because more soldiers are going to die the longer we stay there. Soldiers dying is what's important to BigMac? Well no withdrawl leads to more soldiers dying. Iraq will never be stable until they nuke each other.
