“Nothing will change the fact that Abrego Garcia will never be a Maryland father." - Karoline

MAGA's think they have a big "gotcha" because of the restraining order story that surfaced.

It doesn't change anything about the idea of due process and appropriate justice. This was still a mistake. Whatever happened w/ his wife is hardly something that is worthy of life in one of the worst prisons out there. And yes - of course he'd be deported again if he was brought back, but it would be to another country (as it should have been) where his family could go & join him.

He remains in prison because he is an El Salvadorian and being a MS 13 in El Salvador is a crime. If he wasn't a MS 13 he would be walking free in his homeland.

Two courts say he is MS 13. He was violent as ruled by a court. His wife has photo proof that he beat her. He hung out with known members of MS 13 and wore gang related clothing. He was stopped transporting 7 illegals from Texas to Maryland. He is an up and coming gang associate. He belongs in El Salvador he is their problem now. He isn't coming back.
Precisely…100%, he is not coming back.

Due process is different for violent illegal groups that have been designated as terrorist groups.

Or, perhaps, you could go to El Salvador and hold this “Maryland father’s” hand…but not the one that he beat his wife with.

Stay away from that one.

Your choice of heroes is bizarre.

Then what is the reason you are cheering him on?

LOL

Seriously?

Cripes. You guys really don't get this. I'm not "cheering him on." I'm interested in justice & fairness. Because if they can do this to him, they can find a way to keep pushing the envelope, until freedoms that we value are simply gone.

I can definitely see how the 1930's happened now. And no, I'm not comparing Trump to Hitler. But the idea that people are just complacent while injustice is going on - that's what can lead to tyranny.

No, you are despicable, defending a violent terrorist gang member who was here illegally and beats his wife.

He won’t be coming back.

Perhaps you could visit him…a conjugal visit.

“Maryland father” my culo.

Violent illegal terrorist gang member who is never returning to this country that he entered, illegally, …indeed.
Don't leave out that he was likely a human trafficker. He got stopped in Tennessee and had eight (8) illegals in his vehicle. He told police that he was "taking them to a job in Maryland."

The evidence this guy was a real piece of shit just keeps piling up...

Was there ever a question? The dems heros are always interesting.

He had his day in court... In fact, he had many days in court. He got his due process. What you are demanding is he get one more chance after all the previous chances.

This wasn't an "injustice." It was clearly a case of a criminal being ordered deported to his home country and that nation seeing his gang affiliation as an automatic one-way ticket to prison. He had nothing coming. He chose his path and now he's got to live with it.

I would think that if he were returned to the US, the outcomes would be:

1. His claim for a stay on deportation is denied and back to El Salvador he goes.
2. His claim is upheld and the federal government charges him with being in MS 13 and off to jail he goes to await trial and prison in the US.

Either way, he loses and ends up in prison. The only difference is where he's in prison.

He had his day in court - which determined that he should be deported. NOT to El Salvador, and not to a prison that he could spend his entire life in.

I mean, you posted above that he's "likely" a human trafficker. Not sure if you're aware of how we handle that in AMERICA. Someone gets due process - they get the opportunity to prove their innocence on a charge like that, or on any charge.

And let's be clear - you support denying someone that right. I can't think of much that is more un-American than that.

The government should fix their mistake, bring him back, and then deport him as they were supposed to, so his family can join him.

The president, just now, read a long list of this violent illegal terrorist’s crimes.

It was on NewsMax.

If you watched a legitimate news source instead of MSNBC and CNN, which aired nothing of the White House news briefing with the mother of a beautiful daughter who was murdered by an illegal.

He's not my hero.
If you were Senator Van Hollen which would you do ?

1. Call Maryland resident Rachel Morin's family and console them after her murder by an Al Salvadoran illegal immigrant.

2. Fly to El Salvador to bring a human trafficker and wife beater and twice adjudicated MS 13 gang member back to the United States.

Does he deserve his day in court to prove his innocence?

Yes or no?
