Now Klaatu and other christians want their way into your HOTEL room

Oh, yeah! He said that you said all churches should lose their tax exempt status.
I said that. I said that I don't think the government should be in the business of choosing which religions are good enough to bless with tax exempt status and that all religions should pay tax... Otherwise the government is selecting the "blessed" religions and giving them stronger status over those that are not government sanctioned...

I agree Damo, if the churches run a charity organization then that can be tax exempt, but not the church and property. Except for any property used exclusivly for the charitable org.

That's a good idea. But then you'd have ministers hiding money in their "charities". But I like the basis of that.

Klaatu still has egg on his face from my challange yesterday!

Uhmm.. no Alex .. as usual ..I slapped your lying ass up and down the corridor .. you just refused to acknowledge it ... :321:

you lying piece of crap ....

Typical righteous indignation from the religious lot...

We have a good technique for dealing with them in the UK Rob, just ignore them...

However I don't think Klaatu will be that bothered about porn in hotel rooms though....??

I couldnt care less about porn in Hotel rooms .. A) as long as it is not accessible to Children B) and it is not Child Porn ...

No, its clear for anyone who wants to read... you made up false accusations about me and were unable to back them up when I challanged you.

You have the same style and creditability as Toby.

I challanged you to back up your claims about what I said.... Untill you do you are full of egg! cccc:321:

IhateGov, All libretarians would / should support this attitude I think.
At least from what little I know about libretarians.

you didnt challange shit .... and there is nothing from you that is worth a challange.

Talk about creditability! ROFLMAO!!

I wonder if I can do something like read to some elderly every now and then and claim tax exemption.

I have seen Korean immigrants doing this. Have their home tax exempt and have a family gathering once a week....

I for sure am non profit :(

Definitely. And if they accept government funds they would be subject to government control... The Charity would, not the church...

I think Tax Exempting Churches is government support of the religion and it should not be done unless all beliefs, even that of CONS (Church of the New Song, created by CONS in prison so they could demand steak and lobster at every meal), is given equal status. Otherwise they are selecting specific religions to support, that is unconstitutional.

the christo-facists will stop at nothing.

They aren't fascists, they are theocrats... :)
Hey, if they're allowing "Islamo-fascist" as not-nonsensical then they have to permit "Christo-fascist" as well.

I am thinking of charging Tiana a royalty each time she uses it though. ;)

I thnk you can still get ordained in a trashy church for $100 or so over the internet. You have to hold services once a week I think.
