In Yo Face!
Within the next couple years ...I'm going to sell off the Muscle Cars and SUV

  • 1970 Buick Stage II GSX
  • 1999 Chevy Corvette Z51
  • 2013 Buick Enclave AWD Leather Package

I'm thinking of combining a little Luxury and HP ...

Mercedes Benz E63 S AMG Sedan; one year old, under 10k Mileage loaded ...

V8 600 HP

Mever Owned a Mercedies before, but I have driven the E53 AMG, that's 430 HP

Thoughts ...

I certainly hope you are not using Hemmings as a price guide for your Buick GSX.

Asking prices in Hemmings has nothing to do with what they actually sell for.

I'm sorry, but your 1999 Vette is a dime a dozen today.

And your SUV doesn't have much Blue Book Value left as it is already 5 years old or older.

You may want to just hang onto the nice cars you have now.

You may also want to ask what it costs to insure a 600 HP auto these days as well!

It'll make you appreciate what you are paying for insurance on your other cars!

But, then again, a man has to have what he has to have!

Good luck! Either way you go!

Sorry, I probably wasn't clear on the actual Cars that might get sold.

The 1970 Buick - was born a 455 Stage I GSX
Thee Stage II 540 HP Kit is added afterwards
- High Flow Heads
- Mark IV Cam
- TRW Pistons
- Edelbrock B4B Aluminum intake
- Carter TQ Com 1k CFM Carb
- Headers ... ect
- Stage II badge

I only put the Stage II Badges on for big shows. I've taken this car to many shows and have dragged it, it's a violent low 10 easily and has caught a Hellcat. I was offered $90k 5 years ago, that was before I smoked the original rear differential ... Trust me, it's worth every penny of $75k with a 3:42

The Z51 Corvette: Is defiantly not a Dime a Dozen

- Tigershark front
- 3:42 Rear
- LS Head Cam Kit that get 440 HP
- LG Long Tube Heads
- 2800 Stall Converter

Much more ... ;) that's reveled at the finish line and not before

I just don't drive them anymore and they're taking up space. Plus I'd like to find a good home for them.
As far as insurance ... I'm not worried about that, with the AMG

... and to answer an earlier question, there are AMG's that are dealer driven or for what ever reason, they are return for upgrades or whatever. All the cars are Certified and come with Factory warranties.

Your GSX is cool, has a lot of muscle, but with the factory axle weight, is not a 10 second car- probably closer to a 12 second car- 11 at best.

Even with wrinkle walls, a modified frame and body for lightness, racing gas, and the absolutely highest ratio dragging gears- it would be difficult to hit a 10!

Hey, you have a couple of great collectible cars! Nothing to be ashamed of there.

I just say good luck on your sales, and if you want that Mercedes, go get it! It's a very prestigious car that is already a collectible for those who can afford it.

The middle to top end BMWs beat Mercedies hands down for comfort and fun to drive.

Depends completely upon what you want it to do/how you intend to use it, neither of which you've mentioned.

My wife already has a 5 Series ...

I'm not paying that much for another BMW, and I like the AMG more than the M

I loved my Mercedes but then I drove a friends 3 Series Gran Turismo and fell in love. But my Ram 4X4 is more my speed. And the wife's Grand Caravan with all the bells and whistles are all we need.

I really miss my Chevy Tahoe ... I believe if you going get a SUV, get a Full Size SUV. I'm 6'2" and I don't like the Crossover Types anymore because of lack of space for "ME"

The 3 Series is too small, my goal it to have a mid-size sedan with a minimum 430-HP and can carry 3 additional Adults comfortably.

My wife has a BMW 540i ... I would like an M550i but I'm tired of BMWs ... I want the size and HP of The E Series AMG S ... ;)

Cars like women is a personal thing only you know when it feels right. Enjoy the new ride.

Not yet ... maybe in a Year to get a few $$$ off

I would like to get the 2018 E Sedan AMG

The 2017 E Sedan AMG is around 395 HP, the 2018 is 430 HP

daily driver ... the other cars are collecting dust

Eh.... well, if it were me, and since fuel efficiency doesn't seem to be a factor, I'd look at a maxed-out, all bells and whistles Jeep Grand Cherokee. All the leather, bells, extras, etc.. plus the advantage of great part time 4WD if/when you needed it, AND a higher ride position for visibility.

That, and you could always get the SRT or Trackhawk version if you need the speed.
