Very possibly. I'm the child of parents who grew up in the Depression. I for one know I'm not prepared for the kind of shit they lived through.
It's kind of sobering to see how much we are imitating the 1920's and 1930's right now. Rampant nationalism across the world, dictators on the rise, Putin playing the role of Hitler, major pandemic....and we learned absolutely NOTHING from the first time 'round.
Guess history DOES repeat!
