Recommend Political Books You Think Everybody Should Read Here

Having surviving children was the preserve of the cleverest.

The entrenched aristocracies around the world, many of which survive to this day, along with the Neo-feudalism now cutting off social mobility in the U.S. pretty much makes that claim a lie, at least for a few generations. We aren't ruled by 'the best and brightest'; even G.W. Bush made it through the 'elite Ivy League' schools all the way through grad school. Also, being 'intelligent' doesn't necessarily mean 'good', as Rhodes Scholar and serial rapist Bill Clinton's degeneracy clearly shows.

Guess it should be a thread topic somewhere.

I get it, he says there are more stupid people than geniuses; not exactly news, and with world population undergoing a massive increase he's wetting his panties over it.

Here's a fact: most new jobs creation in the U.S. in the last 5 decades doesn't require even an average IQ, and there aren't enough jobs for geniuses any more. Most Corporations actually won't hire extremely intelligent people. They can't be manipulated as easy.

Grok explains that "nature and nurture" both contribute to IQ.:

“Multiculturalism is in its essence anti-European civilization. It is basically an anti-Western ideology.”

~ Samuel P. Huntington, The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order

When I first started reading them, I quickly became engrossed and found myself reaching for them whenever I had a spare moment. There's a lot of brilliance in those books. For years, they were required reading for Russian high school students, though that's probably changed now. Can you imagine today's American high school students being asked to read even one volume, let alone all three?

I recently watched a YouTube from an ex teacher (she did not stay long, she realized that teaching is no longer what she signed up for) who said that she was constantly told by her bosses that students today should not read whole books, that they should be given only sections of text to evaluate.....she did not say why but the reason is that we are being deliberately cut off from books, from the teachings of those who came before us, so that we are more easily lied to and controlled. I have also heard from many who went into a literary degree because they love books, and quickly realized the this is a mistake now because the purpose of the old books at University is not to promote the love of books, it is to shit all over our ancestors who wrote them.

Sad isn't it, right now there are a bunch of hive members trying to get a little relief from there obviously hurt feeling lingering from November. They're trying their best to make the case that 'MAGA' is livid that Musk and Vivek are pointing out we lack enough American students interested in computer engineering, making the case why we need to import talent. I wish Musk and Vivek were wrong but...

Bret Weinstein and his wife Heather...fellow progressives Old School with whom I agree on a lot...argue that the old books are often not very helpful because life is so different now....in large part due to technology and the evolution of social structures. As a Zennist who spent a huge part of my life in books and my early life in many old books I completely disagree. For me the old books have been like that stuff you put on twigs to get them to grow roots, which it is imperative to have in order to stand up to the chaos and Evil of this dark age.

Frank also says that as a historian the time right now reminds him most of the period before WW1, with instability growing everywhere. Keep in mind that the Imperial Empire is the #1 driver of this.
