Republican party in chaos

This is no longer an America that favors the republican agenda, issues, tactics, or its base.

In order for the republicans to stay competitive in the future is for them to recognize the shift in American politics. Their base is no longer the majority in many states, including many in the south.

Their issues like gay marriage, religion, and other silly social non-issues do not reverberate with the majority of Americans.

Their foreign policy perspective is failed by every measure .. and they are way behind the American electorate on issues like healthcare reform.

They are going to get absolutely creamed in November .. starting at the top where McCain will become the reincarnation of Barry Goldwater.

The chickens have come home to roost.

Most of the above is what Damo was referring to when he stated most of the Reps are pissed that Bush and Co. catered so exclusively to the RR on social issues while spending like a drunken liberal (a.k.a. Ted Kennedy) along with the Rep and Dem Congresses.
