RFK JR: And these are kids who will never pay taxes, they'll never hold a job, they'll never play baseball, they'll never write a poem

I decided to see if I could find the answer myself. I did, at least for young adults:
**

2. Only 19% of Young Adults with Autism Live Independently

Research conducted by Drexel University highlights that just one in five or 20% of young adults on the autism spectrum have lived independently (without supervision) in their early 20s. This statistic is a stark reminder of the significant barriers many autistic individuals face when striving for autonomy.

In contrast, 87% of autistic young adults live with their parents during this stage, relying on family support. These findings reveal the critical role families play in supporting their loved ones and the need for broader systems to help individuals transition to independence.

**
And if you take into consideration the broadening of the diagnosis in recent times the truly disabled ones virtually never become independent.

I can't understand how anybody can be born with autism
because I can't understand anyone
who would drag an innocent new soul
into this shithole of a universe.

I was skeptical when the the Gestapo wanted kids in the 1970s.
The way it is now, it shouldn't even be a consideration.
You're now inflicting life, not gifting it.

Being born these days isn't always a bad thing. I now have 5 nieces, and one of those nieces has a daughter of her own. The first 2 nieces were born a while back, both in their 20s now, the last 3 were all born less than 3 years ago. I think they're doing fairly well- one thing though, as far as I know, none of the new nieces has received a single vaccination, so I think the odds of them getting autism is quite low.

Jessica Rose just published an article today on RFK Jr.'s press conference on autism yesterday. It can be seen here:

I just skimmed the article, but even from that brief skim, I can see that it's got some interesting information for those interested in the subject. I particularly liked this chart:

Fine, but there are limits to how "unaware" doctors could have been a little less than 40 years ago. From everything I've seen, the primary factor isn't that doctors have become hyper aware of autism, but that autism has been rising drastically over this time period.
yes.

the big pharma, medicine, banker Nazis want to destroy our minds with poison.

You actually believe there's a correlation between vaccinations and autism which is totally insane.

As for parents who don't have their kids vaccinated, social services should and must take their kids from them.
Unvaccinated kids are biological weapons against one another.

As Knuckles pointed out in post #2, autism is not always mild. And the rate of autism has been going up for a long time now. From an article published today:
**
Kennedy shared data from other previous studies on autism prevalence, including a 1987 study from North Dakota, in which researchers attempted to identify every child with autism in the state. In 1987, 330 out of every 1 million kids were diagnosed with autism. “Today there are 27,777 for every million,” he said.

“If you accept the epidemic denier’s narrative, you have to believe that researchers in North Dakota missed 98.8% of the children with autism,” Kennedy added. “Thousands of profoundly disabled children were somehow invisible to doctors, teachers and parents.”

“Doctors and therapists in the past were not stupid,” Kennedy added. “They weren’t missing all these cases.”

In 1981 when my son was diagnosed with Autism the rate was 1 in 27000 ,
that was under the DSM III.
since then the DSM"s have changed,
The DSM IV made diagnosis tighter , the DSM V opened it up a lot more , I don't know after that but they do change.
I read it is now 1 in every 32, or even higher.

Autism is more prevalent in boys, not many girls get it compared to boy.

I don't know about motives, I just believe that there is more of a reason for this drastic increase in autism beyond doctors becoming more aware of its symptoms.
it because big pharma and big medicine want poison food to create customers.

I'm telling you about motive right now.

will you learn?

I believe that what's insane is the amount of data suggesting there is a strong link between autism and vaccinations, but so few people are aware of it. There's literally a site with hundreds of papers that have evidence that autism may be caused by vaccines. It can be seen here:

I think it might be best if we just agree to disagree here. I've started threads on my views of biological viruses, but I'm taking a break from such discussions at this point in time. These threads can be seen here if you're interested:

Yeah, it's now 1 in 31 according to the CDC. From an article published today:
**
HHS called the press conference to share results of the latest study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on autism prevalence, published yesterday.

An estimated 1 in 31 (3.22%) 8-year-old children had an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis in 2022 — up from 1 in 36 (2.8%) in 2020, the CDC said in its latest report from the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring Network (ADDM), which is published every two years.

Overall, the prevalence of autism in U.S. children rose approximately 17% between 2020 and 2022, continuing a decades-long trend.

Yes, I learned that from the first Vaxxed documentary. The prediction made in it at the time it came out in 2016, was that that by 2032, 80% of boys and 50% of children in general would have autism. The documentary itself can be seen here (the prediction is made at around the 55 minute mark):

I'm hesitant to believe bad things without evidence. I believe there is plenty of evidence that all vaccines cause harm and none of them benefit people. But as to why so many still believe in them, I think that's another matter entirely. I genuinely believe that people like Nifty fully believes that they are "safe and effective" and it may be beyond my power to change his mind on that. All I can do is point to the evidence that persuaded me otherwise.

there's plenty of evidence.
