The pedophile threatened to kill Rittenhouse. Rosenbaum grabbed the barrel of Rittenhouse's rifle and tried to take it. Lots of people including police get killed with their own weapon. When I was a kid a Highway Patrolman at a traffic stop had his gun taken and the guy killed him with it. A passing deer hunter saw what happened and dropped the guy in his tracks.

No doubt because he just saw Rittenhouse kill an unarmed man.
