So, the person who believes the earth is flat, which goes against the entirety of what is believed to be true, will intentionally educate themselves on why the Earth is believed to be a sphere.

As I've said repeatedly, YES the sphere(oid) earther DOES justify his/her position to the flat earther, assuming the spheroid earther is taking the affirmative position and the flat earther is taking the negative position.
