Should the government pay for IVF?

1) Trump is a Democrat

2) Even though he’s a registered Republican he’s still a Democrat at heart

3) a Republicans can never out Democrat a Democrat - trying to just give away more things will never work

4) IF it passes (which it never would) I hope it’s retroactive and I get the $50K back it cost me
 
To some extent these sorts of giveaways dont matter in 2024.....complete economic devastation of America is almost here....we will be struggling to pay for the bare basics....all of these sorts of programs will end.

I have no problem with insurance companies covering the cost. Why not? They cover the cost of erectile dysfunction treatment. If you are so poor you're on Medicaid, then probably not. If you're so old you're on Medicare, definitely not. lol

Sounds like he's trying desperately to woe suburban women and anti-forced-birthers.
 
The Government should pay for all medical procedures
including, for those who want them, hair transplants and boob jobs.

Civilized nations have national health care,
and any nation without it,
here in the Third Millennium,
can make no claim to being civilized.
That's simply fact.

What the government pays for, WE pay for with our taxes,
and it's more bang for the buck than we ever get in the private sector operating for profit.

The private sector has its place making couture and opening restaurants.
IFV AND boob jobs are the government's job to cover.

Plenty of implanted breasts are for reconstruction after mastectomies.
Frankly, I otherwise don't see the need.
All young breasts are nice regardless of size.
Whatever makes one happy, though.

Taking your statement literally you said boob jobs should be the responsibility of the gov’t (no restrictions).

I haven’t looked up these numbers but let’s say there are 100 million women 18 and older in the U.S. That would be a lot of tax dollars spent on boob jobs if even just a decent number of women decided to exercise that right.

We may as well spend our tax money on what makes people happy is my take.
If we have to compromise on non-reconstructive boob jobs to get universal healthcare,
so be it.

It’s funny, I was just thinking ‘would we be a happier society if more women had fake cans?’ Haha.

I suppose at a certain point you could reach a saturation level where everyone looks the same in that regard and it loses some of its appeal.

Perhaps.
In my personal experience,
enhanced breasts look better under clothes than they do live and in person.

Back in the 1960s, I never had a girlfriend who had implants.
[I recall my son "dating" a few strippers when he was a kid.]

As a non-adulterous adult, however, I've been to plenty of social gatherings
where ladies easily old enough to know better
enjoy a few too many adult beverages
and flash their new goods to the other guests.
Union conventions, for example, were great for that.

Video shows us anyway but a live view confirms it.
When they go overboard, they really only look good under clothes.
 
We should have universal medical coverage like other industrial countries have. It costs half the price and covers all. We do not have it because our system makes some people super rich and powerful. Our system is a joke, a bad one. We are taking away hospitals and clinics. The most profitable ones survive, removing them from rural areas. Our medical system does not serve the people.
