I have "heard" that. But I hear many things that are not true. I like to check out these facts on reputable medical sites.

You realize double vax’d doesn’t mean you’re actually immune, right? It just means your odds of hospitalization *when you do get infected* drops by a fair amount.

You should be able to put the rest together.

I understand that and can find support for it and nothing challenging that fact. I don't have any evidence for your other claims.

My only other claim is that if a person is infected that means they can spread the virus whether they are double vax’d or not.

That's not a talking point. Everyone knows that. And it's still much better to be vaxxed, on every level.

Harris and Biden were both vocal with their hesitancy prior to the election and it was for their usual, crass and craven, political purposes.

They had to walk a tightrope between dissing Trump while not casting too much shade on the vaccines—and they came off like weasel wording idiots. There’s a great clip montage of it floating around but of course YouTube has it buried somewhere.

It’s been shown here at JPP before. Anyone have it?

There were also photos of them, the story was also read in print with references, seen on all channels.
Bottom line here is do what you want. Get the vax and all the boosters. At least though now you have an excellent therapeutic in the MABs offered whenever you DO get the rona.
You can do it all. It's the best of all worlds for you. Be happy. :cool:
 
Story after story hits the news of people dying or suffering from Covid. They all regret listening to right-wing news. They urge their families and friends not to be as stupid as they were. We have many candidates for the same regrets on this board. It may be too late for them. Those hateful stupid leftys are trying to save your lives and keep you from suffering. We are so bad for wanting that.

As I said - Harris was clear in the ONE STATEMENT that she trusted healthcare, not Trump.

And that is the ONLY QUOTE you have produced. Yet here you are, claiming that BOTH Harris & Biden were "vocal in their hesitancy."

Yes. Morbidities. Not everybody has them. This flu is not a one-size-fits-all thing.
Get jabbed, get your boosters, whatever you want. You've had a year and a half to make lifestyle changes to enhance your immune system. If you did not, then oh well.

Speaking of disingenuous rhetoric, why couldn’t Harris or Biden simply come out in support of the vaccines before the election instead of engaging in weasel wording? I’ll tell you why: they were afraid Trump would get credit for the vaccines. So they insulted voters intelligence by implying that Trump could somehow, all by himself, approve the vaccines by by-passing the FDA.

IOW, ‘I wouldn’t trust any vaccine approved by Trump’ was simple-minded bullshit: AND it contributed to vaccine hesitancy by placing doubt in voters minds.

The bolded is complete irony. You have created an impression that Biden & Harris were out there all the time, "vocal" in their hesitancy about vaccines. And have produced not even a single quote to support that.

Now, you're trying to move the goalposts. They never suggested or implied that Trump could approve vaccines. Harris only commented that she wouldn't take Trump's word for it, or for anything. Which is logical, considering the other "medical recommendations" he made.

You're trying to make it much more than it was. Because you know that it's conservatives who made many hesitant about vaccines - not Democrats. Why weren't Trump and Pence more vocal about supporting the vaccines?

Admit you were wrong, already.
 
I wish someone COULD find that youtube clip. I guarantee I could take any quote in there & look at the actual context, and completely debunk it.
