IMHO the best model is an underlying neo-liberal marketplace, with regulation of the banking and investment industry and monopolies, and a large welfare state to increase everyones general quality of life.
 
The opposition to fiat currency is idiotic. The first time we went into a gold based monetary system we went into depression for more than a decade. The reasoning behind gold is fanciful and the benefits are negligible.

Also, can you try and throw in "noahide" and "illuminati" some more, in my opinion that makes your anti-trade rants much more coherent and attractive.

Without antitrust rules capitolism always results in monopolies. There has been effectivly 0 antitrust regulation for 7.5 years..... This is what happens. Thats how AIG got so big.

Strangely enough I am warming to the notion of being against fiat currency, if for no other reason than I am starting to lack basic trust for governments to be honest in even vital areas.

Also, why do you have a false quote of McCain, I've searched all over and cannot find that quote. Do you have a link to it?

Big does not equate to monopoly and nor have I heard even anti-corporate Liberals use the word monopoly in relation to the recent financial problems.

There is destructive trade. That's why historically we have used protectionist measure to insulate people from imports that could displace workers too quickly. Working people used to be a factor in determining trade policy.
