Just curious, what are the borders of the Palestinian state? The West Bank and Gaza, or do they remain undefined ?

Additionally, what does Palestinians currency look like? Palestinian passports? Palestinian stamps? Does this mean Israel can stop unofficially donating electricity and food to the Palestinians, since it’s now a sovereign nation and presumably capable of taking care of itself? Also, terrorist attacks originating from the West Bank or Gaza are no longer unofficial acts by non-government entities. Once an official state is recognized, such attacks become an act of war. That is essentially why Gaza is getting the shit kicked out of it right now. It’s also why the Palestinians haven’t declared themselves independent in 55 years. They are closing off all sorts of avenues for themselves by converting their indeterminate status refugees to enemy nationals.

The only reason to recognize Palestine as a sovereign state is to yank Israel’s chain. In every other respect, it’s an accident waiting to happen… for the Palestinians. But, go for it, if that’s what you really want.
