Help is simply treating the symptoms and watching for any complications, which you go get medical aid for. Since measles is very contagious, it is best to isolate while the disease runs it's course.

Don't get me wrong. I support vaccination for measles. It's better than going through the first infection without it!

This kind of thing is the usual Democrat false equivalence and false dichotomy. They improperly equate measles with covid19, and improperly equate refusal for one vaccine to be a refusal for ALL vaccines.

Kids and others are exposed to the risk of a shooter somewhere no matter where they go.

Vaccines can certainly be harmful...even deadly.

Each vaccine must be weighed against it's benefits vs the risk (of the vaccine itself, or of the disease it is for).

It must suck to be so paranoid you have to get your annual flu and covid shots.
It must suck to wear a stupid mask everywhere you go and suffer the diseases that causes.

Measles kills between one to three children out of every thousand that get it. Treating symptoms keeps the death rate closer to one out of every thousand, but the US is terrible at treating symptoms. So we could expect 7,200 deaths per year if we give up on vaccines. Obviously, the death rate would be much higher the first couple of years, but after about 20 years would settle down to 7,200 deaths. There are about 10 times that rate that are permanently damaged, so about 6.6 million Americans would have permanently damaged health.

First off, Kennedy's kids are in their 20's, 30's, and 40's, so not kids in terms of age. They are making their own decisions. They seem to range from disdain to bemusement of Kennedy, but there is little respect for his "medical expertise." I cannot prove it for sure, but I would assume that most have gotten vaccinated, given the circles they run in.
