The last 4 Recessions. Note who was president when they started.

145 views, and only one Trumpper dared to address this. Typical.
And some " Trumpers " are trying to put the blame on the Congress for these recessions, Last I knew isn't it the President that has a lot more to do with the economy then Congress.
IF any of those Recessions started when a DEM was President I bet they would put all the blame on him for it and NOT Congress.
Well as I said the President has a lot more to do with recessions then Congress does and putting HUGE tariffs on most everything we buy will purposely drive us into another recession and it looks like Trump and his MAGA followers want another one.
Why I don't know.
And you can bet if it happens Trump will try to put all the blame on Biden.

I think its very likely The Felon will have a second recession on his record.

IMO it has already started.
And as I said this one is being done on purpose and I don't know why.
Trump is a complete moron when it comes to the economy.
I will not call it until its formalized, but if it happens, it has already started. Maybe the backtracking will prevent it.

If it hasn't started yet it is damn close.

That's the part that drives me bonkers. WHY???? Sure egg prices were high under Biden and inflation after COVID was taking its time to come back down, but was it so bad we had to destroy America's standing in the global community? Did we have to abuse countless thousands of innocent government workers in the process? Did we have to eliminate every good thing America does on the international stage so we can start a trade war and side with Russia and ever dictator on the planet?

Trump is a complete moron when it comes to the economy.

Agreed. I'll go even further and say you don't need the last 6 words of that sentence.

I think the "backtracking" is making things much, much worse. Businesses thrive when there is a stable landscape on which to function. Right now they can't even predict what their supply chain will look like, let alone how to predict their performance of the upcoming quarters.

Seems like all four were precipitated by black swan events nobody could have predicted. Thanks for pointing that out Veruca

So what was the "black swan event" that precipitated the largest 2 day drop in Stock Market history just last week? Because about 50% of America (the part that didn't vote for the man) could have predicted it. In fact most did.
