the only anti-globalist

I've posted this before and apologize, but Slavery er... Liberty makes me post it again...

It always pisses me off when you economic royalists try to lie and change history. The so called 'socialist experiment' or communist unions you love to berate actually built the wealth and power of the U.S. in the decades after the WWII and is responsible for YOUR high standard of living. You ungrateful brainwashed, diddo head. Roosevelt provided a balanced playing field for labor which has been under attack by you corporatists ever since. Reagan declared war on the middle class in the 80's and our standard of living is now under full assault by Bush's Base of multinational corporate sponsors. They are sucking that wealth to the top which will inevitably drive down YOUR standard of living to that of the average Indonesian.

(in the early 1900's) "A coal miner in West Virginia generally lived in a company town. He woke up in a company bed situated in a company house. He washed himself with water drawn from a company well and ate breakfast prepared with food bought at the company store. Everything consumed or used by his family came from the company, purchased on credit. The credits used during the pay period only rarely failed to add up to less than the paycheck (paid not in United States currency, but company script.) In debt from his first day on the job, the entire system was geared towards keeping him and his family that way.

The miner had free speech, but what happened after he spoke could give him serious trouble. Many companies employed the firm Baldwin and Felts to provide mine guards. These guards dispensed retribution against “rabble-rousers” and “outside agitators” who came in talking about unions. One town even featured a Gatling gun mounted upon the front porch of a company official’s home. Companies figured that they could increase their control by importing miners from a variety of areas such as Russia, southern Italy, and Austria-Hungary. They came from countries with oppressive systems; also living in a strange country with different customs and languages increased their isolation. In fairness, company towns ran the spectrum from benevolently paternalistic societies to absolutely dictatorial rule. Increasingly the system turned its aims towards preventing unions from organizing the region."

If you want a globalized economy then workers need a say in production. Labor knows what to expect if they don't have any power. Economic slavery. History has proven this. Your Market as God and Government theory doesn't work, our situation today was caused by this failed ideology just like it did in 1929. It has destroyed the American Dream and the middle class which was built by decent jobs and collective bargaining. Why would you want your children to be slaves?

You are angry at the wrong people.

I see 60-70% of the population of the U.S. living like the early 1900's coal miners in 2 generations - if monopolistic fascists are allowed to run our govt.

Actually, the unions I speak of, take money from their members, (dues) and give to politicians to screw me, and make me a slave. That will change soon enough.

Your examples are worthless, and don't reflect reality.

They're not worthless examples, you stubborn and willfully ignorant cunt.

You neocon / libertarian revisionists look at our current standard of living (though it's crumbling) and want to deny the facts of how our standard of living came to be.

His examples do reflect reality. You've been brainwashed by fascists and are a shitty american.

The standard of living has risen more rapidly over the past four decades, during which time the power and stability and size of your precious labour unions has declined rapidly.

That's because multinationals were somewhat loyal.

Now the "new normal" is kicking in now, since we all could be persuaded to believe that unions weren't necessary, and that free markets did actually work for everyone. Now our standards of living are headed straight down.

What does the "new normal" mean to you? The "new normal", "austerity measures", the "hard decisions". All of these are code for the destruction of the american people.

How is our standard of living going down? Are you being forced back onto the Apple 88 and Windows 95?

Are you aware of the declining housing market and the increasing unemployment?

Does unemployment affect someone's standard of living?

No matter how cheap things get, you still cant buy them when your income is zero.

why are you acting so retarded? You act like you're not aware of the current economy.

Yeah, so our standard of living will be better 5 years from now when this bloody recession ends, which is further proof of your fallacy that the SoL is getting worse.

What will cause the recession to end? we're hemorraging jobs due to globalist "free market" imbecility.

I disagree!

People like "me" are what made this country great. People who didn't have a union boss lobbiest to pay politicians, giving an unfair advantage,,,,, at mine and others expense.

Sparta. Survival of the fittest.

Unions have become a cancer to this country.

Austerity Measures are chemotheropy.

People are pissed off and are finding out that the oppisite of what you say is true.

Things would be great if we could repeal the 16th amendment, get rid of the department of education, the EPA, the DEA, all unions associated with the govt. Stop giving money to overseas governments, end prohibition, audit the Fed,,,,, and a host of others.

The govt is sucking the financial life out of many of us Mr. Smarty Pants. Companies need to do more than just survive if you want jobs.

These cuts may not be good for someone in a govt union, but it goes a long way to reviving the ones (companies) that feed the govt, and produce jobs. Less taxes the better!

Helping businesses doesn't produce jobs anymore, due to globalization and outsourcing. Face that reality, and stop spouting your tired old reagan era bullshit.

You seem to always put all business together. You think small business is the same as big corps. I'm mainly speaking for small business. Not that the same shouldn't apply to all, but to think that getting govt out of small business is a bad idea is dumb. Small business is being regulated, and taxed so much that it restricts growth. I know a jew hating national socialist such as yourself can't really understand this, but this is true. My company would hire more people and pay them a good wage, with healthcare and more, but the taxes and regulations are killing us.

You have no idea what it takes to hire, and keep employees. The govt has become the small business owners worst nightmare.

It's you who has the delusion your interests are allied with the fortune 500.

your company would benefit from protectionism, but you're too brainwashed to see it. The internationalist fascists are destroying small businesses along with indivduals, but your reagan era simplistic slogans keep your from perceiving the truth.
