The real oil crisis could be starting

Most people are against domestic drilling in places like ANWR, which will take years to have any yield, anyway. That's why they don't do it. If it was only "hardcore Dems" opposing it, they'd do it in a heartbeat.

Now how many applications to build refineries have been filed in the last 10 years ?
On the other had several refineries have been closed in the last 10 years.
I think the closings were due to mergers and increasing profit margin and not due to green activity.
