Your Rome has been burning for years turning you into a jealous old sea hag. Take a long break and try to reorganize your priorities.Nero fiddling while Rome burns...
I hear your opinion, but continue to realize that the world's largest economy isn't one you simply avoid.I guess I missed those facts.
Nations are moving past us and around us.
Trump really screwed the pooch with these tariffs
China has been preparing for this, not only preparing, but is moving in to take over a lot of what the USA is abandoning. Their economy is on the mend and they are strengthening trade agreements with our one time allies.Yeah, Hong Kong market is down nearly twice that of the DOW...
China is not doing well during this shakeup.
They may want our large market, but they can’t count on it, so they are making trade agreements that are leaving the USA out.I hear your opinion, but continue to realize that the world's largest economy isn't one you simply avoid.
They want their goods here, and there was a path outlined on how to get them here. Well, two paths. Either pay the tariff, or work with reciprocity.
Whether you think it is a "mistake" or they "don't know what they are doing", these paths exist and some have already begun that journey.
Anyway the facts I wrote was that there is a path laid out on how to end the tariffs.
Their economy is falling currently, their stock markets have lost nearly double what ours have and they are not doing well during this.China has been preparing for this, not only preparing, but is moving in to take over a lot of what the USA is abandoning. These tariff will really hurt us. Countries are moving to other markets. Brazil, S. Korea and other nations are stepping up. It’s where we were getting cheap eggs, till Trump put a tariff on them.
Which will not change they want their stuff here and will do what it takes to get them here. They may want our large market, but they can’t count on it, so they are making trade agreements that are leaving the USA out.
I guess we will have to see who wins this trade war.Their economy is falling currently, their stock markets have lost nearly double what ours have and they are not doing well during this.
I get what you are saying, but you are wrong on the "greatness" of China and how well they are doing.
I disagree that it is "war", but that is digression. The first nations that make agreements will "win", and they are already lining up.I guess we will have to see who wins this trade war.
China is fighting it on one front. We have
Declared war on almost every nation we trade with.

They will al pretend to give Trump something we already have and the game will be over.I disagree that it is "war", but that is digression. The first nations that make agreements will "win", and they are already lining up.
As I said earlier. My opinion differs from that of the Administration. I do not like tariffs and didn't vote for this (I voted for Chase), but I still see that there is a simple path to end this.
Tariffs suck, but they also suck when they are on our stuff going other places.
Never, it’s always transactional.Have you ever seen Trump show genuine empathy and concern? I haven't
Right-wingers can't even settle on a talking point for why we need these tariffs. If they are supposed to support the revitalization of American manufacturing, they have to stay in place. On the other hand, if they are a negotiating gimmick, Trump is obviously willing to negotiate them away. A responsible multinational corporation is not going to invest billions of dollars in new factories in America based on that condition of tariff chaos and uncertainty. They will al pretend to give Trump something we already have and the game will be over.

He is concerned about the trade imbalance and is taking action to even the playing field which will help all Americans.Have you ever seen Trump show genuine empathy and concern? I haven't
