Millions of people who were once reasonable, thoughtful, deliberative, inquisitive, critical, and decent have joined Donald Trump's cult. I intentionally got rid of a lot of relatives in 2016, but there were a few holdovers like @Damocles and @T. A. Gardner who went fully fucking stupid in 2024. They cannot be trusted.

I've been shocked about that, too. It's almost like they still have a bit of a conscience and have realized how horribly fucked up we are now because of Trump. Because of ego, though, they can't admit that so have gone the other direction.

Conservatives in general see the admission of mistakes as weakness. Normal people see it as a sign of strength.
