Trump vows to ‘look into’ Ashli Babbitt’s death

I don't think his actions were motivated by hate or racism but rather incompetence and fear. He was clearly incompetent, and this was hardly his first major fuck up on the job, even if it was his worst. His fleeing the scene after shooting her says he acted out of fear and ran in cowardice from the scene. His later debrief on the shooting seems to confirm that.
No. It was premeditated. He calmly raised his gun, then fired. There was no panic or incompetence in the motion. It was murder.

Watching the videos makes it clear he was in no danger from Babbit; her hands were empty, no weapons, other armed officers were just feet behind her and didn't feel threatened in that room full of angry people. He took a shot because he thought he could get away with it, is all.

He ran because he thought it would provoke the mob into rushing him, is all. Like I said, there were armed officers among the mob besting on the door, before and after the shooting, just feet away from Ashli, and immediately tried to render aid after the punk shot her. He wanted to kill hisself a whitey and play Hero for the Pelosi's and other assorted vermin, get hisself a promotion.

No, he took the shot because:

A. He was incompetent
B. Scared shitless

Incompetence makes stupid people do stupid things particularly in a situation that calls for forethought. Scared shitless is what happens when you have poor situational awareness (incompetence and are stupid).

The former is shown by his inappropriate response to Babbitt climbing through that window and the later by his fleeing the scene after he shoots her.

He was not scared. He methodically raised his gun, aimed and fired, then retreated from the area while other officers were tending to the victim.

It was not poor situational awareness. It was cold murder.

She wasn't climbing through the window.

^^^This. There was no threat, just a thug who wanted to shoot somebody white, is all. Not many such opportunities in D.C., and he didn't want to miss out. His hand was steady as a rock, as the video clearly shows, not nervous at all.

Yup. Byrdie is a cold-blooded killer and deserves to swing. What he did is much worse than what derek chauvin did to george floyd. Esp since chauvin was just following policy on how to handle OD cases. But the CCM hyped the one story and buried the other.

What is it with @Stone always threatening to kill people in revenge? He claims his life is wonderful, so why does he want revenge?

HAHAHA. Ashli was sitting on a window sill you moron!!
You mean she was climbing through a window that her and other rioters had broken. That is not sitting on a window sill. That is climbing through a window, trying to get to members of Congress.

She also had a weapon on her. She had a folding knife. You know how upset you were that a Black kid brought a folding knife to a track meet? Well Babbitt had a knife illegally in the Capitol Building, and was climbing through a window trying to get to members of Congress. She was warned REPEATEDLY that if she did not stop she would be shot, but was probably too high on drugs to notice.

unarmed white woman,
Stop lying. Babbitt did have a para force folding knife in her back pocket. And the police had just been informed of the pipe bombs placed outside the DNC offices, so were aware there might be more weapons.

Babbitt was definitely warned, but I doubt with all those drugs pulsing through her system she could understand normal warnings.

The unarmed officers standing in front of the doors didn't feel threatened by Ashli either.
The three armed officers standing between Babbitt and the door were threatened into fleeing, leaving Babbitt and the rest of the rioters to attack the door. Had Babbitt gotten through the door, as she was trying, there would be nothing between her and members of Congress.

I have an idea: try breaking down a door at the White House, and see what happens. I doubt you would even make it to a door before a Secret Service sharpshooter puts you down.

her hands were empty, no weapons
Her hands were empty because she was trying to get through the window in the door. The weapon was in her back pocket. It was impossible for the officers to know what other weapons were being carried. She was given multiple warnings.

Again, there was a weapon on her. Because most of the other rioters got away, it is impossible to know how many others also had weapons.

Question: Was that the MSNBC or The View version of reality because it doesn't match any of the actual facts.

Babbitt either had a folding knife in her back pocket, or did not... Which is it?
It's irrelevant. If it was in her pocket, unless Byrd was psychic or something, a hidden pocketknife is not a weapon threat as it was not accessed, not brandished or otherwise visible, and folded closed and Byrd didn't know it was there. It is irrelevant.

Byrd had no knowledge she had it, and even if he did know, because it was in her pocket and folded shut, it wasn't an immediate threat. That means he had no justification on that basis for use of lethal force under his use of force guidelines.

It was a bad shoot. Byrd panicked.
