Trump’s history of racist statements collides with threats of political violence

We fight, We win
Facing four criminal indictments as he seeks the Republican nomination for president, Donald Trump has repeatedly lashed out at the prosecutors and judges handling his cases, while his supporters spin volatile rhetoric into threats of political violence.

His inflammatory remarks, threats to political rivals and borderline incitement have galvanized his supporters, who echo and amplify his statements and hear his alleged dog whistles loud and clear.

Mr Trump has repeatedly said he is the “least racist” person, but his statements surrounding the criminal cases against him are seen as some of his most explicit and most desperate racist attacks yet, following decades of bigoted statements.

He has labeled the three Black prosecutors handling civil and criminal cases against him animals, criminals and racists. After Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis charged him and 18 of his allies in a sweeping criminal conspiracy case, the most detailed yet surrounding his attempts to subvert the 2020 presidential election, one that he falsely insists was stolen from him, he lashed out at “riggers” – widely heard as a racist bullhorn.

“Riggers” has long been used online and on social media platforms as a barely veiled racist slur against Black Democratic officials and voters. Shortly after Mr Trump use of the word, a flood of racist messages and targeted uses of the word filled far-right pro-Trump online forums and platforms.

Biden has that same history too. Not that I’m justifying Trump. Just saying.

Why? You'll just call whatever you're supplied with "fake news," as instructed by your #MalignantMessiah. But nonetheless, we persisted:

The Ever-Growing List of Trump’s Most Racist Rants

Donald Trump’s long history of racism, from the 1970s to 2020

Trump denies racist tweets were racist

Insulting a person has nothing to do with their race, Trump never used racial slurs against them.

Just because they happen to be black and Trump insults them does not make it racial.

Recall the judge who presided over the Trump University case? Trump said the guy wouldn’t be fair because he was “Mexican”. The guy was born in the US.

They settled. Trump and Daddy had to pay for newspaper ads and other sanctions to avoid more penalties.

Knock of the stupid pills. You don’t need any assistance in that category.

You can't settle a criminal case and no charges were filed because he didn't discriminate. All Trump said was that he screened tenents because they didn't want to rent to welfare cases either black or white.

How is that racist?

And many people settle out of court but Trump never admitted any wrongdoing and there was nothing included in the settlement that stated so.

Was he convicted of discrimination?

I rest my case.

You have no case, Tovarisch. It was a civil case, not a criminal. He lost. He also lost the $100M countersue he filed against the DOJ.

The Justice Department sued Donald Trump, his father, Fred, and Trump Management in order to obtain a settlement in which Trump and his father would promise not to discriminate. The case eventually was settled two years later after Trump tried to countersue the Justice Department for $100 million for making false statements. Those allegations were dismissed by the court.

...

"[The settlement] required the Trumps to place ads in newspapers saying that they welcomed black applicants," Kranish says. "It said that the Trumps would familiarize themselves with the Fair Housing Act, which prohibited discrimination. So it also specifically said they don't admit wrongdoing, but they did have to take several measures that the Trumps had fought for two years not to take."

Discrimination is a criminal charge so if there were no criminal charges what do you think that means?

There were no laws broken.

People settle out of court all the time, usually to avoid bad press.
