Well worth watching.. I.O.U.S.A 30 minute version

There was a "second new deal" ? hell the country barely survived the first one (just ask morgenthau's ghost) , who knew ?

The Second New Deal refers to FDRs policies beginning in 1937, after the SC had struck down numerous programs in 1936, and it was markedly different (i.e. Social Security, as opposed to boondoogle employment programs).

1937 was also the year of the Roosevelt Recession, after the economy had slightly rebounded in the previous year.

Everyone knows that Bush, Hoover, Coolidge, and any other unpopular Republican president was actually REALLY a hidden socialist! And they caused the great depression through the MASSIVE SOCIALISM of the twenties!

Try to keep up with your own damned trolling! You said the Roosevelt Recession was a result of FDR pursuing deflationary policy. Since that was in 1937, the year he launched the Second New Deal, I assumed the policies you referred to were those ones...

I said he was trying to reverse a deflationary trap, not that his policies were deflationary.
