Yes, Fredo. It's the same book answer as yours. The fact you ran from your own words about some animals being more moral than others was expected. I was just curious to see how you'd react to your own posts being reflected back upon you. You performed to my expectations.do you have a definition of morality, bullshitter?
I don't think it is.Yes, Fredo. It's the same book answer as yours. The fact you ran from your own words about some animals being more moral than others was expected. I was just curious to see how you'd react to your own posts being reflected back upon you. You performed to my expectations.![]()
Yes, Perry, words have meaning. There's a difference between being threatened with death and being near death or, as in my experience, actually being dead and crossing over into the afterlife.
Of course you can't.
Disagreed, Perry, but your obsession with him is interesting to me. I believe you have a low IQ or brain damage and you seek to compensate by attacking people smarter and better educated than yourself. What also interests me is why you go after @Cypress and not me. Was it because I hammered you over your accusations I was a pedophile like Prince Andrew?
Of course you don't. You lack the ability and self-control. I don't hold that against you any more than would a child or a retard.
I don't, Perry. You're making two mistakes: you're assuming again and you are revealing your weaknesses by being passive-aggressive.
Some people think NDEs are just an ordinary chemical reaction in the brain.
On the other side of the debate, I have a book that reports the psychiatrist Bruce Grayson speculates that as the brains ordinary functions approach clinical death the conciousness can reach a channel normally obscured or blocked.
Whatever is going on, NDEs are a legitimate area of research.
dead is more lasting than a nde.In this case it would be good if it was "near death". (Well, not actually good, I don't want Doc to be near death, but to call something an NDE one would think it would have to have at least TWO of the three words in it.
You seem amazingly credulous.
Yeah, sure, but what is more likely? The brain starts to die and it pitches neural signals or it reveals a gateway to a space beyond reality?
You are more credulous than I am, so I can assume that you have difficulty in judging those options.

does temporary death experience work for you, sophist word faggot?
i thought he said he was temporarily dead. my bad.I know you haven't been following this bit but Doc claims to have had a near death experience without being near death. That actually just sounds like an Experience to me, not an NDE.
But clearly it is important to Doc that he have had this be something special. It forms a part of his identity. So I should just leave him be. He "identifies" as someone who has had a near death experience despite not having been near death at the time. I should honor his self-identity.

Which is exactly what I explored and a primary reason for me to focus upon behaviorism in college as opposed to something like Psychology, Counseling and Guidance. Ideas like "the white light" people see is the brain being starved of oxygen or other common reports being associated with the brain shutting down. There's no scientific explanation and obviously no proof of anything beyond the natural. Some people think NDEs are just an ordinary chemical reaction in the brain.

Perry is just being Perry. He always has to be the smartest person in the room and everyone else is wrong. His passive-aggressiveness is both his primary personality trait and the primary indicator of his weakness. The fact he lies about being Perry PhD and thinks he can get away with it indicates his level of intelligence.I don't know the details of Doc's personal life and experience, I doubt you do.
I don't have the omniscient certainty you routinely display. You are obviously certain you have it all figured out. I'm only interested in seeking the truth, and I don't think anyone yet has an adequate and widely accepted explanation for NDEs yet.

My life wasn't threatened during the NDE.

You always have to wonder about someone who claims to know something about moral values, but then blatantly lies about the use of their sock puppetsPerry is just being Perry. Lying is so egregious a sin it made it into the ten commandments, Perry PhDIf you think it's a lie then surely you'll be able to provide evidence for that.
Normally you don't bother with supporting your beliefs. It would be fun to see if you can do it.
Guess I'll have to wait until hell freezes over, eh?![]()
No, just keep your religion to yourself. I don't want it in my life. Your faith is your thing. Not mine.
Stop forcing people who dont' believe in your version of magic sky daddy to believe in your version of magic sky daddy.
If you can't understand that then you are the problem.
Agreed. Lies about their education and an obsessive compulsive to be seen as the smartest person on the thread including the consistent use of passive-aggressiveness in almost every single post. You always have to wonder about someone who claims to know something about moral values, but then blatantly lies about the use of their sock puppets
Perry is a self-proclaimed atheist so the rules don't apply to him. He's a "No Gods! No Masters!" guy...among other things.Lying is so egregious a sin it made it into the ten commandments, Perry PhD
This isn't a courtroom nor your anger management class, Perry. Nobody has to prove anything about you, me or anyone else. The problem of you is that it's easy for a smart person to appear stupid, but very difficult for a stupid person to pass for long as a smart person. Add a rational (i.e. sane) person to that same logic. If you think it's a lie then surely you'll be able to provide evidence for that.
