When did Palin join the NRA ?

just curious, does anyone know ? Does it coincide with her move into politics ?
Or was she a member long before that ?

In short is her membership a political tool or not ?

Yep most do not understand what "lifetime membership" in the NRA really means. I could become a lifetime member tomorrow if I wanted to.

Where the USA is real--you can get small game hunting licenses at the age of 12. Bet you liberials did not know that. Consertatives are responsible with their fire arms.

I don't know when she got the life long membership, but I bet it was at a youn age. The family loves America, and hunts. It is the usual path for some patriots.

Still, I laugh at a liberal digging deep, asking when she joined as a VP---when their boy as Pres trumps that with his own book about "Frank", his inspiation as a child in Hawaii--a Russian Commie, right from the red country, setting up camp in the USA. Bill Ayres, the lanlord fellon, his America hating preacher and Wife---and you ask this?--Is this all you got?

If it bought a lot of votes--like offering welfare to blacks, other poor and single moms, and services to immerigrants, wanting them to become citizens overnight---the Dems would have tapped that voting population.

You are misreading his post. Epi is not putting Palin down. Palin has been a long time member of the NRA.

My 12 year old daughter is VERY excited about getting a chance to deer hunt this fall. In fact, Alabama has a special youth hunt. The Saturday & Sunday before the gun season opens, a hunter under 16 can hunt (accompanied by a licenced non-hunting adult).

I have been teaching her how to scout locations, look for signs, and enjoy what is out there.
 
I assist in conducting youth hunter safety classes. I used to shoot trap till my back went south. I still shoot rifles and pistols. I do not hunt, but do not discourage others from doing so. I used to hunt when I was younger. when I was a kid no hunting liscence was required for under 16, except for deer.
I also belong to the League of Kentucky Sportsmen.

I do not belong to the NRA though.

I was just wondering if that lifetime membership of Palins was related to politics or not. Liking to hunt and shoot do not require NRA membership.

glad my post caused some rightwingnuts to get their panties in a wad though.

The question was--how long has she been a member of the NRA? The question also brouught up in the thread starter asking "if she sdid it for political posturing". Are you sure I read it wrong? I quoted EPI, but the message is more directed at the thread starter. Sorry guys.

Since you have some experience with guns and a lifestyle of hunting/shooting---what would be your guess to your own question?

I remember you from a while ago--ac/dc on politics. I can see your thread speaking out of the side of your mouth. I see your thread of planting concern, before you know the facts. And, by the experience you have, I bet you know, most likely, the correct answer--that Palin did not most likely join the NRA for political posturing. I would expect a anti gun liberial to come up with that question--not a man with your experience.

The NRA is our best chance to make sure we keep our right to bear arms.

If you want to make sure the next generation gets to enjoy the rights we have, supporting the biggest pro-gun organization makes sense in my book.

I am not a Bush supporter. He spent our money like a radical liberial, and he supports irresponsible world trade (that both parties support). He supported the patriot act, and I bet money my phone calls are listened to because I have customers in the Middle east that I ocassionally talk to, and he forced democracy on a nation by gun point.
Your engulfed in the party system like a Chevy vrs Ford fight.--or may be a Putin (which you libs named "Man of the year" a few months ago) Palin fight. I am not a McCain supporter either, because he also goes with the flow of irresponsible world trade (which I think needs to be fixed first), supports the patriot act and illegal immergration. He is agaist ear marks and big spending, and pick judges that did not drink the commie kool-aid. That part is good about him, with lower taxes. But--we will need lower taxes when he pushes a green agenda with a base of true scientific knowledge that does not exist with the greens.

Palin--is the gal I support--because she is not a party girl. I can't wait to hear her speak tonight. Watch her common sense steam roll over socialism.
