Why do people think Obama is a socialist liberal

Obamas has always been a centralist, and campaigned as a centralist. His policies in the fast 5 years hasn't benefitted progressive politics. He's the same rank and file politician as the rest of them.
 
Must have been the recent rise in the stock market and the growing income inequality that makes people think he's a socialist...

Oh wait.

If he's a socialist, he's really bad at it.
 
"Socialist" has just become a buzz word for Obama's opponents - it's not even meaningful to use anymore.

Socialism just means the application of democracy to the MOP. Obama hasn't done this. He hasn't even tried, or said he would. It's also an extension of liberalism - historically, the liberals and the socialists were political opponents.

why would you say he's always been a centralist.....his first political affiliation was with a splinter group of the Green Party that the GP shunned as being too far to the left......

The only people I know who call him a socialist are ignorant rubes who don't even know what socialism is.

Next will come the mass murders of perceived republicans.
That's when libs will declare their true intentions, the establishment of a totalitarian socialist state that Stalin would be proud of.
Then more murders/disappearings.

The only people who call Stalin a socialist are those who don't understand what he did to Russia. A similar thing could be said about Obama.

And totalitarianism within the socialist sphere is unique to the right wing Machiavellian types.

never mind, never mind, I must sharpen my sword, get a new outfit, get my nails done, put an out of office msg on my email... I have a LOT of repubs in my county, if we're going to start killing them I just won't have time to work!

Napoleon, Lenin, Stalin, hitler, Mao, ho, Fidel, Idi Amin, pol pot, ghadaffi, Blair.
All socialists.
All their states failed.
Socialism always fails.
After years of surpression and murder.
