advertisers are not readers.......and other advertisers will follow readers......hopefully Musk will be stopping by to receive the benefit of your business acumen......
The advertisers are the customers, so Musk is insulting the customers.
All the advertisers/customers want is to control where their ads go. They do not want their ads next to Nazi content. They should have the absolute right to put their ads where ever they want. They should not be insulted for wanting to control their own message.
But Musk does not see it that way. He wants their money, and then wants to hand them whatever he wants. He thinks it is their duty to give him money.
Advertisers are the customers. They are the ones paying, not the readers. The readers are not the customers, they are the product being sold to the customers. The same is true about JPP.
The customers are uncertain about what they are getting, so are cutting down drastically on the price they are willing to pay for digital advertisement. This is hitting everyone hard, but especially Ex-Twitter. A better CEO would be trying to reassure the customers, but not Musk.
Puzzle me this, Musk keeps saying that Ex-Twitter will be an everything app, where it will do everything from arrange dates to replace banks, who will write all that code? Any competent programmer at Ex-Twitter fled for the doors when his perks, and stock options were taken away(they never got good pay). Who will back the banking features? Apple makes a fortune off the Apple Card, backed by Chase... But it has to be backed by someone with experience. No bank wants to back a project to get rid of banks, for obvious reasons. What sort of nut bag would look for a spouse on Ex-Twitter?

I would say go back and read the article but i think we both know, unless someone explains it to you, you will still struggle.
Media outlets, under Twitter's rule, get Editorial discretion, when it comes on reporting banned material
So let me put this in a way you might understand.
If someone hacked Hunter Bidens new laptop and published a bunch of material, Twitters policy would see that poster banned and the material taken down.
But now that material is out, obviously media is going to report on and talk about it, and that is something Elon recognizes you cannot stop, as that IS their job.
You could not have media banned from discussing the Nixon tapes, or Wiki Leaks, or any Whistleblower releases, simply because they may have been obtained by illegal means.

Right wing hate derp talk, on pretty much ALL their sites, are limited to advertisers who are almost exclusively scammers, selling dick pills and other such stuff to right wing derps. And while that is enough to make someone like Alex Jones very rich, because there are a lot of derps who eagerly give up their money, there is no proven path to any larger scale mainstream success for right wing derp talk.
That is why they can NEVER build a big platform on the derp right that will attract big advertising money and mainstream success and they are reliant on waiting for the left to build something that they can take over, ride out for a while, before right wing hate derp talk kills it.
Make no mistake as Elon will kill Twitter, unless he shifts away from right wing hate derp talk. And you derps will proclaim killing it as some type of success despite then having no mainstream platform to push out your hate.
Right wing hate derp talk, like conspiracy theory talk, simply cannot survive outside smaller echo chamber sites because only about 30% are stupid enough to consume it to any significant degree.

And seeing him cry and whine about it is glorious.
The cognitive dissonance he showed in calling 'advertisers who pull their advertising dollars from supporting speech they do not want to be associated with funding, blackmail', is amazing.
Elon seems to think they should be required to provide their money and shut up about what speech it is used to prop up, when it is absolutely the advertisers using their free speech, in saying 'this is what we will support and this is what we will not' with regards to using their dollars to promote hate.

I think Elon's ego has peaked and ran into a problem of which he is unable to solve because he can't see it as a problem. In short, his autism is blinding him to the problem, IMO.
Agreed, but even though Elon may be blind to the problem, his supporting fans, especially those on JPP, are not as blind. They're either lying or stupid.
