Just honor the county of Kent, which was the land of the Jutes during the Heptarchy and the seat of the Bretwalda during the 6th and 7th Centuries.

I knew it! Genetics will out! My grandfather was with the Royal East Kent Regiment during WWI (better know as the Buffs). I wonder if Jutes were my ancestors???

One can always hope. I would be a pity to have those filty Anglo-Saxons for ancestors. And the Jutes more or less made Britain by running the Heptarchy for two centuries.

I am relatively happy about my ancestry: Celt, Germanic (less than 1/4 each, but emphasis on the Irish and less on those damn Nazis) and half Slav (Czech and Slovene - my dad is basically all Slav). I am also 1/16 Wenebego Native American.
