Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old who was shot and killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer, had the drug THC in his system the night of this death, according to new information obtained by ABC News.

The revelation came as prosecutors in the case prepared to release to the public hundreds of pages of new evidence along with videos and crime scene photos.

Martin's death sparked public outrage after police released Martin's shooter, George Zimmerman, without any criminal charges for the killing.

Zimmerman, 28, is a multi-racial Hispanic man who shot the black high school junior at close range on Feb. 26, and claimed self-defense, though Martin was unarmed. Zimmerman was later charged with second-degree murder, and the killing provoked widespread debate about racial profiling.

The autopsy report shows traces of the drug THC, which is found in marijuana, in Martin's blood and urine.

The autopsy also shows that Zimmerman shot Martin from a distance of between 1 inch and 18 inches away, bolstering Zimmerman's claim that he shot Martin during a struggle that landed Zimmerman on his back, Martin straddling him and banging Zimmerman's head on the ground.

Martin's autopsy report also revealed that there was a quarter-inch by half-inch abrasion on the left fourth finger of Martin, another indication of a possible struggle. The teen, who lived in Miami, was in Sanford while serving a suspension for a bag of marijuana being discovered in his possession.

Well, then. That settles it - he deserved to be shot.

:palm:

Absolutely!

At least according to clowns like Dweebway.

A small list of factors dweebs like to bring up that are completely and 100% irrelevant to this case:

Trayvon was smoking pot
Trayvon had a screwdriver in his backpack
Trayvon was in trouble at school
Trayvon wrote random shit on his Facebook page
Trayvon wore hoodies and acted like a wannabe

None of this shit is relevant to what happened. NONE of it.

uhhh it's relevant, character witnesses etc are all very much involved with our judicial proceedings.

is it the be all end all? no. relevant? yes.

that said, marijuana isn't gonna cause you to go off on someone. It's not like it's fucking pcp or anything like that.

Of course every single factor listed is 'very much involved with our judicial proceedings' because they will be utilized by the defense. That doesn't mean any of them are relevant to the charges against Zimmerman. They have absolutely zero relevance to what Zimmerman is charged with. ZERO.

once more, wait until the trial when we get all of the evidence

martin could have been higher than a kite and it still would not be relevant as to whether zim should have left him alone to be dealt with by the fuzz

Why do you FEEL that what is revealed in the article has "absolutely zero releveance"?

after travyon was shot the media and public spent weeks talking about what a kind gentle soul he was, how he wouldn't hurt anybody, how he was super nice and great etc. If that is appropriate for public discourse (and it obviously is) then it's entirely relevant in the other direction as well.

if trayvon has a history of X y and z that shows he is gets in trouble with people, is violent towards authority figures, then it may bolster zimmermans case for self defense. so entirely relevant.

What's 'appropriate' in the discourse has nothing to do with what's 'relevant' to the charges.
Equally, Travyon Martin being the nicest kid ever has no relevance, either.

So now marijuana use is punishable by death in Fla?

I guess piss testing the welfare recipients didn't do the trick.

Did anyone do a tox screen on the accused?

And as our resident Zimmerman zombies orgasm over the latest news release, let's just do a little critical thinking:

The latest information released STILL points to the FACT that had Zimmerman NOT left his car and PURSUED Martin, the incident would NOT have taken place.

Martin having smoked a joint sometime prior to the fatal encounter in NO WAY justifies Zimmerman's 911 calls, as a recent security cam video of Martin purchasing his Skittles and Ice Tea drink was NOT acting impaired or under the influence.

Having shot Martin from a foot and six inches only proves that Zimmerman shot a kid who was fighting an unknown person who was first following him in a car, then got out of the car to confront him. Why isn't Martin being given the same benefit of "Stand Your Ground" to fight for his life?

Photos of Zimmerman with some bruises and blood traces proves he was in a fight, and not the "life and death" struggle he intitially told. If indeed his head was bashed against hard ground REPEATEDLY, it would have been in worse shape than that photo. Yet, Zimmerman required NO stitches, REFUSED MEDICAL ATTENTION that night. His "broken nose".....yep, he took a hit in the nose....not busted wide open, but enough to show he was in a fight.

The unidentified witness that now suddenly comes forth to tell the tale that Martin was this "MMA" aggressor on a downed Zimmerman has YET to be vetted.

Oh, and it seems Zimmerman was cruising on a combination of prescription meds that are akin to legal speed balling on the lightweight side. Funny how THAT isn't being blasted across the allegedly liberal MSM.

Just a few things right off the bat that anyone with an objective, critical eye would pick up.

Irrelevant

Why did you leave off the "1 inch to 18 inches" report and only focus on the "foot and six inches"?

Where did you study for your medical degree?

The unidentified witness that now suddenly comes forth to tell the tale that Martin was this "MMA" aggressor on a downed Zimmerman has YET to be vetted.

So you admit that we can wait to see the outcome. Good for you.

Proof?

Just a few things right off the bat that anyone with an objective, critical eye would pick up.

Let everyone know when you decide to take an objective, critical eye and actually pay attention to the FACTS.

When I saw the thread, I assumed it would be crack or something serious.

Turns out it was just pot. Holy fuck, Webbway, you really showed us!!!
