Zimmerman's whereabouts have been unknown since he was released after spending 11 nights in April in the John E. Polk Correctional Facility in Seminole County.

His lawyer has declined to discuss his location or living arrangements, citing death threats and fears about Zimmerman's security.

"The defendant's wife lied to this court," prosecutor Bernardo de la Rionda told the judge.

He was referring to the fact that Zimmerman had received about $200,000 from anonymous donors to fund his defense, even though his defense lawyer had previously described him as penniless.

When Zimmerman surrendered his passport to the court at his April 20 bond hearing, he did so knowing that he had a second unexpired passport.

Yea well, Zimmerman got a little caught up in himself. He's always believed that he was above the law, which is evident by his history of violence/subsequent comments re. same. Perhaps if his dad didn't get him off each and every time, he'd have learned about abiding by the law years ago?

Daddy's not going to be able to fix this one for him. :D

I wasn't aware of "his dad" getting "him off each and every time".

Can you cite a source for that?

No, I can't. Do they put things like "his dad is a magistrate" in the file?

So you can't actually prove that Zimmerman Sr. ever used his influence to get George out of trouble?

Two charges which should have landed him in jail where mysteriously dismissed with no trial, no actions taken, no plea bargins? How often does that happen, especially when you assault a police officer. Seems a little suspicious to me.

Suspicion doesn't equal evidence, does it?

What kind of evidence would there be for a judge having influence in the decision to close cases? It is all back room dels, remember the guy who killed the girl in Aruba? It happens all the time. Some people do not have to face the same consequences as others because of who they are or who they know.

But you haven't produced any evidence to support your suspicions, have you?

zimmermans father is a magistrate?

"The portrayal of George Zimmerman in the media, as well as the series of events that led to the tragic shooting, are false and extremely misleading," his father, a retired magistrate judge, wrote in a letter published in the Orlando Sentinel.

Zimmerman attended a four-month law-enforcement program in 2008 at the sheriff's office, said Kim Cannaday, spokeswoman for the Seminole County sheriff's office.

In his application for the course, Zimmerman wrote: "I hold law enforcement officers in the highest regard and I hope to one day become one."
