Obviously the polar opposite of you.....BAC is the acception to the rule......

Stop projecting. You're the biggest party hack on the board.

I have villified Obama for his marijuana policy, his wars, his corporate connections & his ineffectual leadership. I ain't voting for him. Get back to me the day you don't vote for the GOP candidate.

I can always count on you to come right back and prove my point....

No, lol.
I told my family the same bullshit when he began America's genocide in the Middle East. "He is our president, and even if we disagree we need to respect the office."
Bullshit. Respect must be earned, not assumed.
Then it's safe to say that you have zero respect for our current president, right?

Where were the massive war demonstrations during Bush's 2nd term? With an exception or 2, they simply didn't exist. The massive demonstrating came mainly within the 1st year of the Iraq War. War fatigue took over after that.

During Bush's 2nd term, protests became local, and they still are. We have 3 spots in my area where protesters always congregated on weekends during the Bush years, and I still pass those same protesters every weekend today. It's an exaggeration & misconception that there were massive protests throughout Bush's tenure.

The anti-war left - people like yourself - are some of the most principled people I know. One of my favorite local bumper stickers is "I'm even against the NEXT war." People who are anti-war tend to just be anti-war, regardless of party. The only military intervention I have supported in my lifetime is Afghanistan, and I have come to regret that support profoundly. I opposed every one of Clinton's actions, as well as Obama's.

I want that bumper-sticker. :0)

This is a conversation that those of us on the left must have .. especially as many of us continue to praise Bill Clinton, who led the Democratic Party into corporatism and away from everything they have ever stood for. We can't right this ship playing democrat vs republican. The name of this disaster is corporatism vs the American people. Corporatism vs human life.

Perpetual war is just one of the products of corporatism. It doesn't stop there. They are coming after the safety-nets of the elderly, benefits to children and education, and they don't give a rats ass about the unemployed.

From my perspective, these are the kind of critical conversations that should be taking place on the left, but to effectively even have these conversations it requires people like you, I, and others here don't take them as a personal attack, but rather as introspective.

Most lefties on this board do not support that thought.

Shows how little you really know about most of us, lefties. I don't think many liberals on his forum are registered Democrats, remember me, the little lady that helped a Republican candidate for governor because I believed he was the right man for the job.

hbo is awesome and GAME OF THRONES is awesome. I've seen that scene many times and you can't even tell. It's something you would only notice if explicity pointed out to you. I never noticed it. A complete non-issue. everyone go watch game of thrones. one of the best shows on tv right now.

It doesn't matter. He may be President but he's still an American which means we have the god given right to make fun of him.

I'd boycott HBO if I ever watched anything on the shitty network. Bill Maher is about the only thing worth watching and that barely stacks up.
I pretty much agree. They had the mini-series "Rome" a few years back that was excellent but not much since then. I canceled my HBO subscription cause the only thing I was watching was Bill Maher.

HA! That's a laugh. The day you can defeat Dung in a debate I'll call him Dung Hack but until then I think you're going to have to hang on to that title! LOL

LMAO... Dung doesn't debate. He attacks the source of data, not the data. Or he does like he did on the Greek thread... blows smoke.

As far as being a partisan hack, Dung takes the cake, hands down. But I know you are a bit slow, being from Ohio... and you are so far down you actually have to look up to hacks like Dung. Not to worry Mutt, we don't hold your ignorance against you... except in WW

I love the reasoning... "We just used what we had lying around..."

Apparently they kept a bodiless head of the President hanging around...
