Will O'Reilly Apologize For Being An Idiot?

prevailing wisdom was 5-4. virtually no one thought Roberts of all ppl ( Kennnedy went with the minority) would bypass the Commerce Clause, and call it a tax - even when the Dem's wouldn't call it a tax.
(I rethought it, and figure -"hey maybe it will get us to SPay"). Many ppl are saying that Roberts decided his prime role was to show the court wasn't politicized.
we'll never know - was it a results orientated decision?
You won't get the apology. You do get a new tax, which it always was, and you get Roberts doing the heavy lifting, when the Dems ran from the tax label.

Lot's of crow being eaten yesterday. I'm having mine steamed -sans feathers please.

We pay for healthcare one way or another.

I think we'll continue to see changes implemented as time goes on.

At issue, is that republicans and blue dogs tried their hardest to keep anything from being passed. Imagine what could've come from this, had the Kock Bros. not funded the disruption of the town hall meetings?

We just might have crafted something meaningful.

For all the discussion re. 'how the system is supposed to work', what's glaringly evident is that NOTHING gets done in Congress.

So we have to rely on gimmicks.

You rely on clinics. I don't have that option.

I'll be waiting patiently for my coverage to get better. I was getting double digit increases every year for many years now.

It simply can't get any worse for many of us.

Oh it can always get worse.(costs/ access when you flood the pool with 30 million more)
I'm hopeful we'll get to Spay. I still think that's the best.
I don't see any cost controls, but since i'm poor , doesnt matter. I guess it's "transitional". and while I shouldn't be clinging to attachments, i will miss the free clinic. Best service ever. I had an HMO, it was like being in a cattle car.

One day at a time, i do have to agree what we have now is unsatisfactory, we'll have to see how it goes. I'm not gong to keep jumping back and forth.
The mind is searching thru scenarios like a computer looking for the best move .

Thankfully the Comerce Clause is clipped. Roberts did everyone a favor, now no more hyper-extensions, if we raise taxes, it will be called a tax.
Gotta be happy about that.

Yeah, the feathers stick in between the teeth. I like it grilled, personally.

I noticed he did not host his show last night, he was on "vacation" and they had a guest host.
