Sheldon Adelson has donated $10 million to the Koch brothers’ efforts to elect Republicans and oust President Obama and other Democrats -- forging perhaps the most powerful, well-financed political fundraising machine of 2012.

Adelson donated the money last weekend during a Koch brothers’ fundraising summit in suburban San Diego.

The private deal was confirmed Friday, according to the Associated Press and other news agencies.

Adelson has already contributed $10 million to Restore Our Future, which is the super political action committee that backs GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, and $5 million each to two organizations promoting House Republicans.

During the GOP presidential primary, Adelson, chief executive officer of the Las Vegas Sands, and family members gave $21 million to a super PAC...

One wonders how many low income families cod have been helped with $21 MILLION dollars.

But hey...the ultra rich only care about the poor and middle class when we can make them money.

you're such a disingenuous shithead. you never say boo when rich dem donors do the same.

Well, if he did that he'd be admitting the two-headed hydra theory of politics. One cannot do that and be sheeple at the same time. His Democrat handlers won't even let him read an editorial they haven't scrubbed and sent through the email distribution list...

Find me some proof that a rich Democrat and his family has donated $21 Million dollars to Obama and i'll speak up.

Til then it's so nice to see you to comment on the thread topic for a change and not just making another petty personal attack aimed at another poster...OOOOOPS!

sorry...my bad!

How about that?

A petty personal attack from Damo...I guess this close to the election, it's time for him to let his hacktacular colors fly!

LOL.. give and take, man. If that is all you'll post, it is all you will get.

A. It's not all I post, so your claim is total bullshit...and obviously a lie.

B. It was you who initiated this exchange of insults, yet here you are whining about others...

C. ROTFLMAO!

I haven't seen much other than this.

Nah, I quipped on top of another. It's a guy thing, we hang around and toss insults. It's fun.. but then you wouldn't understand that.

C. ROTFLMAO!
I seriously doubt you actually were rolling on the ground, nor do I believe your @$$ actually fell off.

BTW - This guy didn't donate the money to Romney any more than Maher donated to Obama. There are laws that limit those kinds of donations.

Interesting enough Bain Capital donates 71% to Democrats and only 28% to Republicans.

Now, if you want to know which of the donors are the largest for the Democratic party, or to super PACs one needs to look at Saban who gave 9.2 Million directly to the Democratic Party in 2002 (If that is what he gives on the off-season, what do you think he gives during Presidential campaigns?)

George Soros gave $40 Million in 2004...

Now he's having a bit of an issue gathering in the dough this time, mostly due to the sucking that he's been doing. But there are massive donors to the Democrat PACs, and those are just the ones we know about. Remember in 2008 they really didn't need the PACs Obama gathered in more for his campaign than all of the spending for the republicans combined. It was one of the most awesome warchests I have ever seen.
