We're #1?!!

no prob. BAC is checking him out too ( where is BAC??). he's not perfect, but he's not part of the duopoly.
The ONLY way to effect any real change in this country detours around the entrenched special interests they glom up.

American are fucking stupid -no other way to say it -keep looking at the same old professional politicians for some glimmer of distance between the
Wholly Owned Corporatists.(WOC's)

I agree 100%.

Hopefully BAC's just on holiday?

5e3deluxe, why did you thumbs down my post saying Aaron Sorkin is a sexist? Do you think the story Darla posted was false or do you not care what he said you like him anyway?

Where did I assume Damo supported the PA under Bush?

And no, I didn't vote for Obama, nor McCain, nor Barr. I voted for Nader.

The only asses exposed here are yours, when you ASSume you know shit that you know nothing about.

I voted for Obama after Hillary dropped out. There's a test on the site OntheIssues where you're matched up with the candidate who holds most of your positions, and my top guy was Nader at 70%, followed by Hillary (65%), Biden (60%) and Obama (60%).

I'm at 13% with Romney and 0% with Herman Cain and Haley Barbour. :D

His country is China, so we should really ask how many peaceful protesters he's murdered.

Thick doesn't go half way to describing you.
If you wish to think I am Chinese, Japanese or Martianese, please be my guest. It is not for me to educate you and I certainly have better things to do with my time than rising to the bait of someone who is still waiting for their balls to drop.

LOL

Aaron Sorkin is an asswhole, but I still want to suck him off. That's pretty much the deluxe edition of this thread in one sentence.

LOL... yeah, people are totally endeared to the British. You are the only one displaying arrogance. You are the one trying to demonstrate your 'superiority' and tell us just how 'awesome' you are in the UK. Take a look at our histories, the UK has done far more harm than good.

Whilst Britain has its share of overweight and unpleasant looking people not to mention some who are as dumb as you, we have not been given the soubriquet 'The Ugly American'

Ugly American (pejorative), a term used to refer to perceptions of arrogant behavior by Americans abroad

The Ugly American, a 1958 novel by William Lederer and Eugene Burdick

So even though you think you are in a Brownie Point competition with me, in fact you have already been condemned many times over, by millions if not billions of the planet's inhabitants, as the unacceptable face of the West.
Live with it.

0% with Herman Cain, colour me shocked. :rofl2:

Oh, FFS...Affordable Care Act...DUH!!! Second cup of coffee is failing me today.

Well, Johnson wants to repeal that...there's a big fat MINUS....
he is a libertarian. he wantrs to cut spending across the board. He also opposed the Bush unfunded:
The Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act[1] (also called the Medicare Modernization Act or MMA) is a federal law of the United States, enacted in 2003.[2] It produced the largest overhaul of Medicare in the public health program's 38-year history.

The MMA was signed by President George W. Bush on December 8, 2003, after passing in Congress by a close margin.[3]

He's not stimulus, he does focus on debt, which might make him objectionable to progressives. I can live with it/ The bigger point for me is the multiple Obama wars.
I doubt he could get AFHC repealed, though he would be hostile.

I do not recall making that point on this thread, dear boy. But if you say I suck (whatever that means), then I suppose I must. However I am not American and that helps me sleep at nights. How many people has your country killed today? Oh, and it is not 'math' it is 'maths'. A contraction of 'mathematics'.

But you are an American; or at least half by parentage.
I'm sure you remember your American GI father.

It is six of one and half a dozen of the other. Another 'lesser-evil'. What a disappointment.

We're so fucked.

Odd... I do believe you were with us going into Iraq. Are you not also in Afghanistan dear chap?

This thread was about the crime rates etc... and the comparison of countries. If you don't care about such, why are you on this thread?

Sorry grammar nazi... do the math is an expression here. If you don't like it, tough titties.

Yes, a new country that beat the crap out of an imperialistic bunch of assholes. (with a nice assist going to your betters in France)

Take a good look around you... the UK has been back sliding for decades now... and yours is the more violent of the two nations as the crime stats indicate.

It probably won't be to long and GB will just a tour for people who want to view what a Used to be World Power looks like now. Well; at least England. The rest of the country will probably wall it off from themselves, so they don't have to worry about being "invaded" by those trying to escape England.

no doubt. one has to pick thru the lessor evils, and weigh which are most loathsome/I find Obama unacceptable; Johson has a good history with working with NORML, and i'm a bit more tolerant of libertarianism, being federalist orientation. I doubt he can repeal ACA, but he WILL cut spending, and Fed'l roles.

You just gotta throw darts or something at what you can't live with, scavenger hunt for an acceptable candidate.
