neither can government be expected to regulate itself. the problem most people seem to have is they delued themselves with the perception that either one group wants NO regulation or TOTAL regulation. nothing could be further from the truth, but whatever. when people demand more and more government regulation, you end up with ridiculous policies like requiring a college degree to be an interior decorater, but only a high school diploma to be a paramedic.

Unfortunately, humans run the govt. organizations.

As such, we see what happend w/the MMS, and Big Oil. They were LITERALLY in bed with each other.

Again, when profit ABOVE ALL (kickbacks to look the other way) is the motive, the system gets skewed.

I know that you recognize that a lot of people help you in a business. Perhaps the banks, the investors. There's no question your mom and dad. Your school teachers. The people that provide roads, the fire, and the police. A lot of people help.
