Ya...I know, probably not, right? But for the sake of raising a point...

We have apparently stumbled upon the enlightenment, that pinheads now believe it is crucial and important to properly vet candidates for president. This includes digging into their pasts, and finding any kind of possible 'issue' of something that may be taken the wrong way. Because it's important we know the truth about our President. Since Obama does plan to be a candidate for president this year, I think there are some questions he needs to answer for us. (Seeing as how we're now all on the same page with regard to the vetting process.)

The first question is, who did he buy his illegal drugs from, when he was admittedly a drug user? It would be nice to know if this person was still pushing drugs on the streets, or if he cleaned up his act, at least. I think that would probably reflect on how responsible Obama is, and how much citizenship he has. These things are important when picking a president, you know?

We're going to also need to review Obama's academic records, which he still hasn't released. It's important for us to know how he gained his credentials, and see the documentation which supports it. If we can't take Romney's word for things like this, why would we accept Obama's? There is also a matter of the long-form birth certificate we've yet to see, but that can wait... I have even more important questions!

I want to see documentation surrounding Obama's association with Franklin Raines and William Ayres. And all the other Marxist-Socialists who have surrounded him his whole life. I think we need to look at his connections to Rev. Wright, and his radical theology. All of this stuff needs to be pulled out of the closet into the sunlight... now that Liberals understand the importance of properly vetting a president.

Where does this right exist? What gives you the right? Do I have the right to see your tax returns? Should every politician release their tax returns? If not, why not? Why just those runnung for President?

Also, you and your ilk sure felt differently about college transcripts when you were demanding Bush's college transcripts.

He wants to be the leader of this country and economy; he is obligated to prove that his priorities are in the right place. Tax returns will tell the tale. Or not. He can choose not to disclose them - or he can disclose them and let everyone see what his priorities have been. And as a result, either way, he will LOSE the election. Simple as that.

i asked you about the "right".....not some political obligation. can you tell me where the right derives from? presidential candidates have not always released tax returns. so, again, where does the right you mentioned derive from?

Goody for you. If Romney wants to serve the People, he'll oblige them and release his tax returns. In them contains info by which his economic priorities will be judged. His word isn't enough. Call it whatever you want. We have a right to know who we're voting for.

why is it you're dodging my question? where does this right derive from? you do know the difference between a political obligation and a right....correct?

i really don't think you can judge someone's economic priorities on their tax returns. that is pure nonsense. how far do you go in obtaining personal information of a president? college grades? after all, "we have a right to know who we're voting for" and if they were a slacker, what would that say about their presidency? (note the sarcasm)
