Actually, you are half right. Yes, the system is broken. But, it isn't venture capitalism we have, it is crony capitalism. What we need is a return to real free markets. Let the individual decisions of millions of people decide how to allocate resources. It will provide more prosperity for more people than you can imagine.

Now we have a system where it is easier for a business to grease the skids of a particular politician than actually try to figure out what the consumer may want. They do it through preferential tax treatment, they do it through forcing uncompetitive laws on their competition, they do it in a myriad of ways and the consumer always gets fucked. ALWAYS!

The answer isn't more and more regulation. We have done that, where has it gotten us? The answer is more free markets. More free markets would get the money out of politics. Because the incentive to bribe would not be there

You are incorrect, even rich people who don't own businesses create jobs and here is how. Rich people don't just put their money in a coffee can in the back yard or under their mattress. If they put that money in the bank, they make capital available for entrepreneurs to start businesses which in turn will create more jobs. Unfortunately there is a woeful lack of basic economic knowledge in this country so many walk around clueless about how things actually work.

If the fed were not artificially keeping interest rates down, we might be able to make capital available. Although, with the promise of this douchebag president to tax everything that moves, who would want to start a business?

While I completely understand what you are saying and concede the point that a lot of rich people DO inadvertently create jobs with their wealth, some may indeed put their money in a coffee can or mattress. Or, maybe they put their money in something that is just as secure and untouchable by socialists? The one thing we are absolutely positive they WON'T do, is bring that money out of investment and securities, and actually fund capitalist ventures which will forfeit their gains to an anti-capitalist government. I remember when my wife laughed at me when I told her I wanted to buy a house completely off the grid far away from the dipshits. She thought I was crazy. Now she thanks me. We can live completely off the grid with our own water supply and FREE electricity. Many redundancies and backups. I figure if others don't want to prepare for themselves, then fuck em. We, looney liberals object to the type of Capitalism that does not create jobs, but is strictly and abusively used to make money at the detriment of people, who then have to go on assistance that you bitch and moan about.

See, with looney liberals, like myself, it is about people and not money. It is about the betterment of all of society and not just a few. Examples in history have shown that when the weakest link prosper, the whole of society is better off.

All capitalism creates jobs. No job can be created without capitalism. Even a government job is paid for with capitalism. All capitalism makes money from people who pay money, in exchange for a good or service, to the capitalist. There is no capitalist if the capitalist can't make profit.
