Loser Libertarian Compares Obama to Aurora Shooter

It's the wild, wild, west out there with citizens becoming law enforcement officers, jury and judge all in one, killing someone who may or may not be guilty.

It's 'last man standing'... it doesn't matter if 'he' starts it and you do everything you can to avoid it but finally as a last resort, use 'your force'.. if 'he' is left standing, that means it was your fault...

it's crazy...

the NRA gets blame because they are religious in their approach.. after Columbine, they didn't stop and say "Ya know what, some crazy people get guns and we don't condone that in anyway"... nawp.. instead, they had their rally across the way from the school and Heston gave his 'waaa they don't want us here' speech....

I mean c'mon.. there is a time and place for everything.. the NRA, otoh, sees this type of tragedy as way to stand up and say "my cold dead hands motherfucker" to anyone who says "Hey wait, maybe nut-cases shouldn't have guns"..

the're kinda shitty and they deserve the disdain because of it..

That has been used against the NRA for years and is totally bogus.

The columbine shooting happened 11 days prior to the NRA annual meeting. The laws of their charter state that they MUST have an annual meeting and must notify its members 10 days in advance of a change in venue or dates. That means the NRA would have had to notify 4 million members in 24 hours. The NRA DID cancel all of the activities it could cancel. But if it cancelled the board meeting their charter would have been revoked.

And what is the "across the way" thing? The NRA even was not held across the way from the school, but miles away in Denver.

As for Heston's "'waaa they don't want us here'" speech, you might want to look at the actual speech instead of the Michael Moore version of it. Here is what Heston actually said:
""NRA members are in city hall, Fort Carson, NORAD, the Air Force Academy and the Olympic Training Center. And yes, NRA members are surely among the police and fire and SWAT team heroes who risked their lives to rescue the students at Columbine.

Don't come here? We're already here. This community is our home. Every community in America is our home. We are a 128-year-old fixture of mainstream America. The Second Amendment ethic of lawful, responsible firearm ownership spans the broadest cross section of American life imaginable.

So, we have the same right as all other citizens to be here. To help shoulder the grief and share our sorrow and to offer our respectful, reassured voice to the national discourse that has erupted around this tragedy."

Also, the "cold dead..." line that Heston supposedly uttered was from a speech made a year later in North Carolina, and was in response to a gift of a collectors piece musket. The quote showed that he valued the gift, and had nothing to do with Columbine at all.

So try and remember the facts next time. The NRA cancelled all the activities they could.

interesting...you're still running away from two simple questions i asked you.

Why do you always say this? When will you realize it's not "running away", it's "I'm sick of dealing with this brain-dead-fart-Yurt"?

In all fairness, we don't "run away" and start a new topic on the same subject like ummm...you? after one of the many occasions you've been handed your ass on a platter.

no he didn't.. he campaigned on ending Iraq..he eyes were always on Afghanistan..

funny how that very argument could be made against 'pro-choice' nuts. And abortion kills way more lives per year than gun violence ever could.

He doesn't get the concept of, 'My silence might mean you're not worth the argument.'

So what? Abortion kills babies in utero, when they're the dominion of the mother. Abortion is legal.

So what? So what? I see....So it isn't really about saving life for you, but rather just a matter of semantics as to when that life is taken.

Abortion kills babies....

Yes it does...Thanks for the admission.

when they're the dominion of the mother.

With that logic you'd make a great slave owner.

Abortion is legal.

So is gun ownership...Although, gun ownership is a right. Abortion is not.

Abortion is legal. Deal with it.
